I'm planning on putting down laminate and don't want to put down beading around the edges.
Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to lift the skirting boards (on a house built in the '80s) up so I can slot the laminate down please?
Thanks!

Don`t know if you are taking the piss or something but here go`s
You don`t lift the skirting boards up to get the laminate under it you Dope ! you need to RIP off your old skirting boards lay the new floor covering then fix new skirting board lot better job than crappy beading around the edges all you need to do around door frame is saw a bit off the bottom to get the laminate under.
If you are gong to paint your new Skirt`s get your sin some MDF boards as they come ready primed up and have no Knots in em.
