Signed him on FM as back up on the wings, Stoke fans hated me for it Maybe that's what put Pulis off buying any wingers, FM12 :\ (Piss off anybody who mentions a timeline inaccuracy)

They've signed Herita Illunga, Pascal Chimbonda, Chris Kirkland (this he may have gone back to Wigan though), is it worth a quid on Donny doing a Blackpool?

I'd take him as back up winger if he was up for it. he'd probably get along with salif, who would keep him out of trouble.

For all the stick he deservedly gets for being a wanker, going to Doncaster is praiseworthy because it must mean he simply wants to play football.
He may be scum, but he's in a different bracket of scum to 90 percent of modern day footballers who would rather sit in the stands earning shedloads of cash at a big club than go to a smaller club and play football for less money.
I wish a few players from the dark depths of our squad would bugger off to Doncaster. But they're not prepared to take a pay cut to get first-team football.

Theirs a few people who would gladly take them up to Doncaster free of charge too!

Orrrrr the fact that he just wants a bit of money? He won't tear any trees up in The Championship as he's rubbish, IMO. He hasn't joined FROM Blackburn, he was released by them at the end of last season and it's taken him til now to find a new club because; A) He's a bellend and B) He's not actually very good. Expect Doncaster fans to be extremely underwhelmed by his input and effort in the next two to three months.

The money he'll be on at Doncaster will be a drop in the ocean compared to what he's already got in his bank account, so the likelihood is he's signed for footballing reasons. Isn't this just an example of a player who can't get a game (or club) at the top level deciding to drop down to a smaller club to carry on playing, like Peter Beardsley or Jimmy Greaves did? You're right, he's a bell end and not very good, but fair play for signing for Doncaster.

Rangers fans weren't weeping at losing him as he did fuck all apart from play up to his pantomime villain persona.. If he's not good enough to get noticed for his ability in the SPL then Doncaster and the Championship are probably getting the worse part of the deal...

have you all seen the article where mckay has taken over transfers at doncaster. doncaster pay £2k per week (with in the case of loan players the parent club make up the difference)
the player gets in the shop window, and when a move happens the player, agent and other club gets the money with doncaster getting a cut
doncaster have crowds of 10k and pay on average 8k per week, that is unsustainable
mckay has registered this plan with the fa and they seem happy, in the short term everyones a winner
on the subject of diouf - very good player but grade A cunt

Because they've signed two dodgy, over the hill prem full backs doesn't mean they are going to get promoted. The championship is a very good standard and seems to get better year after year. In my opinion donny will be relegated this season.

I guess he's figured out a short-term contract at Doncaster is purely in his own best interests. But I still think it's good to see a player of his level making a move that doesn't seem purely financially driven.

It doesn't mean he just wants to play football, this new system at Doncaster is set up to get good players on the short term while they wait for a big club to come in for them so he'll be back on a huge wage soon enough

He could not even hold down a regular place in the SPL last season. He is done at the highest levels.

Yes he will, he wont be at Doncaster long He was available on a free as he was without a club and no one wanted him. What makes you think a big club would have him? He is finished. For those saying he would be good back up as a winger must have a fetish for really slow wingers.

This is what Doncaster are doing thats why they have Illunga from west ham, they've openly said it.
