Just having a conversation about managers and we are trying to find out who was the first foreign born manager to manage in the English top flight? Any ideas? Cheers.

Wasn't it Jozef Venglos?
Used to be Villa manager in the early 1990's and managed Celtic in 1999.

First foreign manager of an English top-flight club: Dr Jozef Venglos (Czech), Aston Villa, 1990. wow... over 100 years without a single foreign top flight manager? I'm a little surprised.
