Cant foooookin believe this, im currently in Granada, southern Spain (that i can believe cos its fooookin hot). Just been up the mountains searching for life in the local villages, when i stumbled on a little, yes little supermarket, so i went in to buy a ice cream for the misses, opens this freezer to find 4 Wrights pies and all in date.... So out they came, i thought 4 euros each was a bit expensive, but i probably would of paid a tenner 4 each 1.... Just had 2 of them with a beer, foooookin great, my first Wrights pie for nearly 5 months... they tasted like heaven Just thought id share my little story with you all......

I used to love Wrights Pies. I had a TShirt.

You must have changed mate ;D I'm hardly a torch bearer of stoke/north staffs culture because i've spent most of my life away from there but wrights pies, oatcakes, duck and scfc are still a big thing to me

is the asian takeover a myth?
just wiki'd wrights and it says this....
The company was founded in 1926 by John James Wright and is still family-owned. In 1926, John Wright started making pies from the front room of his terraced house in Stoke-on-Trent. The Stoke-on-Trent factory is now used for confectionery production with the main premises based in Crewe.

wouldnt surprise me if the asians had taken over, they have full control of all the other food we eat! its just a matter of time before they lace everything with a special ingrediant [proberley around ramadam] were doomed i tell thee were all doomed
