Everone's posting like there's some serious underlying fault in how we play. I just think it trying to reshuffle the pack all the time is going to cause the odd blip in form. The players will get used to what we are doing the more we do it.
Manure are experts in anyside they put out looks seamless no matter who they put out. We need to strive to that, perhaps just needing more integration rather than making sweeping statments about who is shit who robs a living who is Pulis' biggest mistake etc.

Isn't there a danger that your players end up becoming a Slave to the rhythm?

If you've got rhythm and you've got music, could you seriously ask for anything more?

Everone's posting like there's some serious underlying fault in how we play. I just think it trying to reshuffle the pack all the time is going to cause the odd blip in form. The players will get used to what we are doing the more we do it. Manure are experts in anyside they put out looks seamless no matter who they put out. We need to strive to that, perhaps just needing more integration rather than making sweeping statments about who is shit who robs a living who is Pulis' biggest mistake etc. We have no recognised fit left-back, two wingers (the only two at the club) are woefully out of form, three of our central midfielders (Delap, Whitehead, Diao) are incapable of even the rudimentary basics in terms of passing the football and moving to receive it and despite this being our fourth season in the Premier League, it's still better to pay £100 and get repeatedly kicked in the nuts than it si to pay £100 to watch us play away from home. You can talk about rhythm and to a certain extent i agree, but you need round pegs, round holes. That way any period of rest time does not lead to a detraction in ability of knowledge of an adopted position. Look, overall we've had a fantastic start to the season and we're about as likely as Villa, Everton or Newcastle are into getting into a relegation scrap, and that serves as a massive testimony to Pulis' achievements here at Stoke. But there are fundamental flaws in the make-up of our squad that have, despite significant quality added and significant outlay made, yet to be addressed. We should do it sooner, rather than later IMHO and the first step is the removal of Diao in January to be replaced by Marshall. God knows he cannot be any worse out wide than a 35 year old who plays ostensibly for a throw-in and the fact that he runs round a lot.
