They have a solid base and arguably the most pace in the premier league. They generate a great atmosphere at home, they havent conceded any goals at home this season. They dealt with our set plays, they had few chances, but took them.
Nothing to do with tactics, nothing to do with line up, Pulis didnt tell Shawcross to go out there and concede a penalty or woodgate to clear a ball and get a lucky bounce in the path of their striker.
Swansea were better than us, we have still started brilliantly, and we will still finish above them. CHILL PEOPLE !

Too many players all over the park were below par....no doubt the regulars (Whelan, Whitehead) will come under fire but it was hard to find anyone playing well today...Possibly exclude Walters and Crouch. We also seem to gone back to old bad habits, making unneccessary and ill timed challenges (Shawcross/Wilko). Bad decision making from Ryan on the penalty....the guy was going no-where..... But as always we will regroup and come out fighting for the next game. It's just so bloody frustrating after a top performance against Manure to be played off the park in the way we were

All credit to Swansea for a good performance.
We still have a fantastic season ahead but I can't for...
Ric to come back Higgy to come back Huth and Shawcross to be our full time centre halves

Best team won. No doubt! Would love to see us playing some football like they did. Still love Stoke, and still support what we've done and are doing, but we could do so much better.

They weren't very good though were they. Two useless tackles for the goals, and plenty of possession during the game, but a lack of quality passing from us.

But CHILL? My team have just lost - what is there to chill about? Wrong formation again away from home Square pegs and round holes again

Swansea`s game plan of letting Crouch win most of the headers and then picking up the 2nd ball worked a treat. Spot on about the pace.

Swansea were good defensively, but apart from the opening salvo, their attackers didn't look fit and soon faded.
If Woodgate and Wilson actually tackled someone we would have slowed them down even quicker.
Their keeper is an obvious liability.

Apart from the obvious threat of Sinclair...Swansea were constantly running through our M/F. If we accept that we are not going to play attacking ball players in M/F The "cage" must do its job. I don't think it did today

Glad somebody has pointed out that Swansea are not a bad side at all. They have flair and some degree of organisation. If they can avoid injuries they could have a half decent season.

They beat us quite comfortably in all honesty which is a worrying fact, couple that with the sunderland debacle and we could be in for a struggle this season.
