One nil up against Liverpool - dying minutes - Stoke City heroically defending for their lives
last ditch blocks by players dead on their feet - Liverpool players in desperation appealing 'Penalty' - every time it goes in the box
Corners being taken form side to side resulting in a stream of goalmouth scrambles - the fans of both sides a near fever pitch
Stoke playing the ball out desperately to ease the pressure but, it keeps on coming back
I KNOW !!!! -
----ITS TIME TO TROOP OFF DOWN THE STAIRS TO THE CAR PARK BECAUSE ITS TIME TO LEAVE AND I MUSTN'T MISS MY BEANS ON TOAST ?
utter fuckwitts or what ? (defies belief this one)

sorry no excuses - just pretty dumbass in my book
how could you possibly leave a game like that ????????????????????????????????????????????
and how do you explain hundreds of stoke fans doing it ?
worse still -then standing - blocking the aisles and views of their fellow suppoorters
here's a thought then - - if you get up to leave early
get out of the fucking way !

They don't always leave the Stadium, they prefer to stand on the fucking steps and block everyone view of the game. The poor bastard at the end of our row can't stand for many minutes and misses the last 5-10 minutes of every game because of these shit heads. Its time the Stewards moved them on and out.

Fair comment. If you've got to go then fucking go. If its just to beat a few hundred Stokies out of the ground because you are too fucking fat to sprint the fuck off.

My problem is - I have an 70- 80 mile round trip a 30 minute walk to and from the ground and, I've paid my money too
Then these selfish gits get up to leave - change their minds - block the ailses and then have further 'second thoughts' (happily as far as these selfish gits are concerned) blocking the view in turn, of their fellow fans.
jesus wept ! - that's my problem - can you grasp this ? anyone ?

It is shit that people leave early IMO. Personally I stay and cheer my team off the pitch - especially when so deserved as today.
If you have to be somewhere, fine. But let's face it most just don't want to be stuck in the peak queues.

Although I have no problem with when people leave the ground (have to leave early myself occasionally due to work etc) I do have a problem with people just standing there on the steps or by the block entrance as it really does ruin it for other people. If you want to leave, leave. If you want to stay, stay. But do one or the other.

I agree with you mate. At the split game a load of guys were singing city till I die as they walked out 5 mins before final whistle. I had to be at the sugarmill for 5:30 and I stayed for the full game. I think it's all to do with traffic

People can leave for whatever reason they wish!
I agree with the aisle blocking point and the useless stewards but that wasn't really the reason for the thread was it.

Others, I really don't comprehend at all. Why go to a football match if you're bothered about traffic? The team played for 95 minutes yesterday. Shame that many felt that an early exit, the pub or Strictly come f***** Dancing was more important.

Tell us your seat number mate and we'll all come and stand in front of it so you can't see, then we can ask again. And theirs the bottom line, the problem isn't with people going early,Its the blocking of views standing on the steps to watch the end. You paid your money some people are saying so you can leave when you want, you paid your money for a seat not a step in the gangway to block someones view. If you're going go.

I don't have a problem with people leaving early - there are decent reasons including the need to get to work or get home to look after the children so a partner can get to work. Their decision to leave when they want - they have paid their money. But it SERIOUSLY pisses me off when they stand in the gangways. This is inconsiderate and is not helped by stewards who obviously have no interest in following stadium rules. They should ask them to leave and if they don't, they should be ejected and have their season tickets suspended for the next game. That would soon concentrate the mind. I don't know why this just happens at football matches. if you go to the cinema you don't get half the audience standing in the aisles for the last five minutes of a film.

People that are up and down and wandering about as though they're there for a day at the cricket pisses me off, had a gaggle of Chinese tourists in front of me that were up and down all game, getting drinks and food, generally milling about not apologising to the people they were disrupting constantly. Why spend over £30 if you're not going to watch the bastarding game, you can mill about and take photos of each other doing this shit** anywhere else for free. **

I don't see the big issue! If you want to walk like a penguin for half an hour trying get to Heron Cross then stay, get a fucking grip and stop moaning at the people who leave early! There's always something for someone to moan about, get a life!

I accept that some people have other commitments, fair enough, but for some it is just habit. There are people by me that always leave about the 85 th minute, whatever day or kick off time, so I seriously doubt that it is to do with 'other commitments'. I just don't understand it, they miss all the best bits! Anyway, what happened to 'we'll be with you every step along the way' we pride ourselves on our support and that support should extend past the final whistle IMHO.

yeah...was much better when we only had 12000 fans then I could get home early...shite now. I dont get home till 6.30 I dont know why I go at all. I mean its like a full day now to watch Stoke play....bars too full to get a pint..have to wait for at least 5 minutes to get served. Carparks always full. Queues everywhere. Give me Exeter again on a Tuesday night...much better. I do find it strange why hundreds would leave tho....and not all have commitments. Its just to beat the traffic and queues. We were beating Liverpool !! with desperate defending right at the death....it doesnt get much more pulse racing than that!!! and isnt that why we go? To be entertained?? Yeah we gotta walk back to Grove Road..yeah it takes half an hour and yeah the traffic is crap. Thats because we have a successful team and 26000 fans. And I think its fecking great.
