1. What do you make from you start to the season?
Very good considering the lack of players we had at the time.
2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it?
Best experience of my life, especially going to Split in Croatia
3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer?
Very positive, some shrewd signings from pulis and hopefully crouch can score a few!
4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania?
Yes, theres always some moaning Stoke fans who are NEVER happy with what we are achieving
5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final?
A wonderful day out, shame about the result. Beating Bolton 5-0 was a amazing achievement one which I was proud of
6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in?
Absolutely, I feel we can progress through the group stages in Europe and who knows how we do from then.
7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on?
Yes, Ryan Shotton i just coming through and doing well and Ben Marshall is another promosing player
8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road?
Atmosphere and maybe some negative tactics from our manager but we trust in him.
9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore?
No. I hate Port Vale, glad we dont play them anymore, I consider my derby day for some reason to be Cardiff or Wolves
10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that?
No. Most Arsenal fans clearly do not know what they are talking about. Scum bags.
11. Who'll be your best players this season?
Hopefully all of our new signings have a good start and Etherington and pennant are always threats and huth and shawcross are solid at the back, could be anyone of those mentioned.
12. And your worst?
N/A
13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome?
Yes, but its what we need. competition for places.
14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer?
Very positive, payed over the odds for some players but It looks to be paying off, suarez is a cracking buy for liverpool
15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss?
Good manager, Good appointment and good for the fans. Hes had a good start
16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be?
Dirk Kuyt, very good player , runs his socks off and is always a nuisance
17. Where will both teams be in the table come May?
Liverpool 4th Stoke 10th/9th
18. And finally, what will be the score?
1-1
Crouch and Adam

1. What do you make from you start to the season? Very good, proper football - tight defence 2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it? Not that bothered really, with so many matches and so many of them on TV it's hardly special these days. I'd rather beat Liverpool, Manchester United or Arsenal than ANY continental side. The best thing is the ticket prices - all three home games for £40 and big discounts for kids means that a father can take a son or daughter without ruining his bank balance. 3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer? Good, though we need a spare winger 4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania? Oh yes. But managers are rarely wholly popular. I am so old I can remember Waddington, and he was not at all liked by plenty of Stoke fans. I studied in Glasgow, and watched Celtic from the mid sixties to the early seventies, when they were consistently the best team in the UK, and sometimes in Europe, and there were plenty of Celtic fans highly critical of Jock Stein. I would bet there were Liverpool fans who knocked Shankly. 5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final? The campaign was great - I loved the QF against West Ham, a team we always have a real hard tussle with in cup ties. And the semi was so good it was not quite real. I think we all knew we wouldn't win the final the moment we saw Etherington carried off against Wolves. I thought the players' attitudes were excellent - Pennant obviously is a better man now than he ever was in his youth. The supporters were fantastic - very proud of them. 6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in? Yes, we have become a much better cup side - historically I think we are the worst cup side of all the big or medium sized clubs in England, so it's good we have improved. 7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on? Shotton has the luck and attitude to do well. 8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road? I think our poor record away has been due to a lack of a working strategy, or players good enough to carry the strategy out. Also, frankly, having been to the last two Anfield games, I think the manager has a list of places where we needn't bother too much. I was very angry after the last two trips to Liverpool. 9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore? No, bitter and pointless affairs. The derby for Stoke is the game v. Wolves, and has been since the world's very first season of professional league football. 10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that? I know we're supposed to say "No, couldn't care less", but I DO mind myself. I mind because the critics get so much attention, and because I know that very few of them have ever seen a Stoke game, except on TV, where you have to be very strong-minded to ignore the comments from the "summarisers", who are to a man slaves of the obvious phrase and conventional wisdom. And I particularly hate Arsenal because their fans take their beat from a fundamentally dishonest manager. 11. Who'll be your best players this season? Jones - his position is the hardest one in the team - and Begovic. 12. And your worst? Rory, I am sorry to say. Worst player, best human being. 13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome? Four fit ones. No. We don't have a galactico forward, so the spur of competition is going to be applied hard and often. Also our forwards have to work VERY hard, so subs will always get a game. 14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer? No revolution yet. Carroll is hugely overpriced, Charlie Adam will fade. Suarez is a proper player, and Downing is a good fit. I wish we'd got Bellamy. Our defence is better than yours. 15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss? I am surprised Kenny's done so well. But just watch what happens when he gets a few bad reviews - he finished up at war with the Scottish press a few years ago. 16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be? Reina 17. Where will both teams be in the table come May? you 5th, we 10th. 18. And finally, what will be the score? 1-0, not sure to whom. At 16 you should know right from wrong, but I blame the parents!
Surprising how none if these people choose Stockport or Rochdale as "their" team, they just happen to have an affinity to a team who won the Champions League when they were 10.

1) A brilliant Start to the season, unbeaten in the league and a 100% record in Europe. Couldn't ask for anymore. 2)This is my first experience of Europe and I have enjoyed it so far. The home games are reasonably priced. However,I am dissapointed with the draw because I will not be able to go any of the away fixtures because of money and location. I just hope it doesn't effect our league form. 3)Our transfers have brought good cover, experience and strength in depth which we need for Europe. I would have liked to seen a LB come in and a cover for the wings but happy overall. The signing of Palacios is what we have needed since we came up, Jerome adds pace to our attack and Crouch, although majorly overpriced, has opened peoples eyes to Stoke city and signals that we are here to compete, not make up the numbers. 4) I would say 99 out of every 100 of us are exceptionally pleased with the way TP goes about his stuff but like at most clubs there is the odd one who will not be pleased until he has won everything there is to win! 5)The F.A cup brought excitement to the whole city and was a brilliant experience. Our performance in the final was quite poor and the better team win on the day. It was very tense for the fans a we were constantly on the back foot which killed the atmosphere. 6) I think we could surprise Europe, despite our difficult draw. And there is no reason why we can't put together another good cup run domestically but i am not sure if our squad will be able to compete on all fronts. 7)A winger Ben Marshall is looking a good prospect (on loan at Sheff Wed. atm) and 18 year Florent Cuvelier who is captain of the Belgium under-21 team. 8) If I knew that I would be applying for the managers roll! I think our home form is mainly due to our fans and pitch size but I, like others, have no idea why we are poor away. 9) Yes! would lone to see us draw them in a cup but there are always out by the time we enter! 10) I love it! I couldn't give a shit what others think, "We're Stoke City, we'll play how we want." It has served us well so far. 11) I think Shawcross will have a good season, hopefully Palacios and our wingers usually deliver. Begovic is already looking outstanding. 12) No one hopefully! I don't think Jon Walters can repeat last years performances. 13) No, we started the season with 2 fit strikers which no-one outside the club seems to be aware of. 3rd string RB Ryan Shotton has been our makeshift striker. Both Fuller and Sidibe are long term absentees and are aging! Jon Walters is also classed as a striker by us fans. Most teams have more than what we do. 14) Made some superb transfers and are looking a very good, attack-minded team so far. Easily top 4 but I am not shore if you will be competing for the title come may but i think you will continue to built under 'King Kenny'. 15)I don't know a lot about Dalgliesh as I am only 16 but I like him as a man and as a manager. I know he means a lot to your fans as an ex-player and think he will be there for many years to come. 16) Reina is one of if not the best GK's in the league but I think begovic is also up there.Dirk Kuyt would fit into our team very well. Adam is also very good on his day and the sort of player we need. 17) Liverpool will be top 4 comfortably, 3rd or 4th, probably the latter and Stoke, between 8th and 11th. For me it depends on how far we go in cup competitions (mainly Europe) 18) 0-2 or 0-3 if you continue to play like you have last few games! I don't think our defence is great at coping with pace and Suarez will be everywhere running the show. Adam's passing will be effective too!
UTP.

Hi, Oatcake Fanzine! I'm a 16-years-old Liverpool supporter from Amsterdam and a member of the independent LFC fansite 'Redandwhitekop.com/forum' In the build-up to the match we try to run a feature called 'Spyin Kop' for every game in which we ask an opposition fans site for their thoughts on the game and the respective teams. As well as providing an alternative viewpoint on the upcoming match we hope to bring in some opposition fans for friendly banter and discussion pre and post game. It also gives us the chance to swop information about good pubs, bad burger vans etc for travelling Kopites/Potters. I've put some questions below, if you or another supporter could answer them and email me back we'd be very grateful. If you can't spare the time but know someone who might be able to then please forward this message on to them. Cheers and regards, DutchRed ps. When the article is complete I'd be happy to post a link and you'd be welcome to come along to the site and see the reaction. if you wanted to run a similar article we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about Anfield etc. 1. What do you make from you start to the season? 2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it? 3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer? 4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania? 5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final? 6. Cheers and regards, DutchRed 1. our start to the season has been very good. we have got 5 points from 3 very tough games. 2. it has been a great experiance in europe so far and the players we have bought will bring backup for when players get tired and need a rest. 3. i am very happy. we could have done with a backup winger (although super jonny walters and jerome can cover there) and a left back as we keep playing centre backs there. 4. we love our tone. there are however still a few people who want him out ( as there is with every club) but we tend to ignore them. so yes... he could be more popular. (its britannia ) 5. it was a great cup run and the two games at wembley were fantastic. however we had lots of injuries for the final and that greatly affected our performance. we could have done better but i loved the days. 6. definitely. i think we will do well in europe because our style is relatively unheard of in europe. they think all of our tackles are fouls when they are not and also dont know how to deal with our throws of course 7. diego arismendi, ben marshall, louis moult, ryan shotton. 8. i dont know. obviously the crowd helps alot. but i think our away form will get better this season. after all... we are unbeaten this season home and away. 9. absolutely not... they are in leeague 2 and should stay there ;D no.. honestly i would love to thrash vale again... a stoke vale cup draw would be amazing. 10. no one gives a shit. 11. huth, walters, woodgate, shawcross, begovic, palacios, crouch jerome, fuller, etherington, pennant 12. sidibe 13. yes... but it all helps with europe ( and you missed super jonny walters ) 14. i think 20 million for henderson was ridiculous. i really dont rate him and to be frank i hate him. however i do think liverpool will be tougher to beat than last season. 15. i didnt mind him until he offered 8 million for shawcross.... when you bought henderson for 20 million, thats an absolute joke. i dont like him, dont hate him. 16. reina 17. stoke will be 9th an liverpool 4th. 18. 1-0 stoke

There really are some fucking idiots on here, and taking the moral high ground based on supporting an unfashionable side is pathetic.
I haven't got the time to answer all your questions but to sum up my views on you and us I would say that I think TP has worked wonders and got the best out of average players and then helped rebuild the careers of some that had lost their way. Out progression over the last 4 years is remarkable and the signings will strengthen us no end, especially Palacios who is far and away the best player we have signed. A good cup run and top half finish are on the cards but we could end up a little lower in the league due to the extra games in Europe. I don't think relegation will be an issue for us and with some luck we could defo go back to Wembley this season.
As for Liverpool, well I have never been a big fan of the club but Henry has come in and invested heavily and you have strengthened but have payed well over the odds for every player bar Suarez. I cannot understand how you managed to pay more for Downing than Young and I think that at £35M, Andy Carroll is the worst piece of transfer business ever. He is an extremely average target man and anything over £15M for him is robbery.
That said, I think you and Spuds will fight for 4th spot, as Arsenal are finished. If Adebayor hits the ground running for Spuds then they will run you very close but otherwise it's yours for the taking.

It's fucking embarassing how ignorant some of our fans are on here sometimes. The lad has been perfectly civilised and asked perfectly reasonable questions, if you aren't interested in what he's said than don't bother replying. 1. What do you make from you start to the season? Very pleased to be honest. 7 games unbeaten with 5 clean sheets is a fantastic return given the threadbare squad we've been having to make do with. 2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it?It's a magnificent feeling, and a credit to everyone involved in the club. Alot of the current generation of stokies didn't see us in Europe previously, me included, so these are surreal times. 3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer?A fantastic window, possibly the best in the clubs history. We desperately need to add more depth to the squad with the added fixtures in Europe, and the players we have brought in and the money we have spent really highlights the strides this club has made over the last few years. 4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Britannia?I doubt it. The way he has transformed this club over the last 5 or so years is nothing short of remarkable. There was alot of unhappy people when he was re-appointed, but he's answered his critics and won our entire support around. 5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final? It was a memorable campaign, and despite finishing lower in the league than the previous season due to that frustrating defeat against Wigan on the final day, it was plain to see that we had progressed as a club again. Unfortunately injuries at the wrong time and a lack of depth cost us in the final, but we still made history in getting there. For many Stoke fans, it was the greatest day of our lives, and the proudest moment as a stokie. 6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in?Without doubt, we are a much improved cup side these days, I feel we have a chance in all the cups we are involved in this season. 7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on?Yes, we have several good prospects at the club now. Ryan Shotton has made great strides so far this season, Ben Marshall continues to impress whenever loaned out, and players such as Florent Cuvelier are showing great potential too. 8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road?I suppose you'd have to question the tactics on occasions, but encouragingly we've looked alot better on the road so far this season, and we are still unbeaten on our travels. I think the hostile atmosphere we generate at the Britannia makes a difference too, not many teams in the league view a draw at the Britannia as a bad result. 9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore?I don't think people are too bothered really, we have plenty of other games that provide good rivalry. 10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that?I think it angers a selection of our fans, but personally I don't care what they have to say, we do our talking on the pitch. All we've done for the last 5 years is prove people wrong, we play to our strengths and more often than not get the results, and football is a results business. 11. Who'll be your best players this season? If we can keep Wilson Palacios fit, I think he could the key player for us this season. He's the central midfielder we've been missing for quite some time now. 12. And your worst?Nobody of course. 13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome? Not really, it's an area we desperately needed to add depth too, and we've addressed it with some excellent players. I think Jerome was signed with the intention of providing added wing cover too which is something we also needed. Sidibe and Fuller are still sidelined at the moment so we have 4 strikers competeing for 2 places. 14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer? You've bought well this summer, and Dalglish will be expected to deliver a successful season with the money that has been spent. Jordan Henderson has started well for you, but his transfer fee was still very inflated I think. Andy Carroll's fitness must be a concern for you too having spent 35 million on him. Top 4 finish for Liverpool this season, which I'm sure all your fans would take. 15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss?Good manager and seems a decent enough bloke in the press. That could change next week though when we beat you 16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be?Seeing as though I can't say Suarez, I'd probably go for Jose Reina, he's one of the best goalkeepers in the division. 17. Where will both teams be in the table come May?Liverpool - 4th Stoke City - 7th 18. And finally, what will be the score?2-1 Stoke.

Some pricks on here havent been educated to know that there is a history before 2008....I've visited the British War Graves in Holland and they are all immaculately maintained by subsequent generations of Dutch children....who recognise the sacrifice to free your country from tyranny.....So you could choose whatever you want...including supporting any fuckin football team you want.... I hope you enjoy the game pal...but not too much

Collins, buy him now. steal for 3 million 8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road?
we arnt... 4 points from 6 on road this year. dont be such a cunt. 9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore?
no not really, we have better gave vs newcastle town 10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that?yep makes me cry 11. Who'll be your best players this season?
theres a few 12. And your worst?
no 13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome?

Ironically, if he supported his home team (assuming that is Ajax) he would've tasted more glory in his life time than he has supporting Liverpool.

1. What do you make from you start to the season?
Considering the limited amount of players we had for the first 3 games, a point off Chelsea and undefeated for the first 3 games has to be seen as a very solid start. 2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it?At 27 I can't remember the glory days (70's), so it's all new to me. I think Europe is a little different now, since the induction of the Premier League this in itself as become an elite competition, unless your playing in the Champions League most clubs will see the Europa League as a distraction. Aslong as the league remains the priority then we'll enjoy it. 3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer?3 very good signing for Stoke. 12 million for a 30 year old seems a little steep in all honesty, but you pay a premium for an English centre forward, especially an International one. 4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania? The man can frustrate the life out of you, generally becomes he's right in the long run 5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final?Great run up to the final, but with injuries to key players (Huth and Ethrington) we just couldn't give Man City a game in the end...shame. 6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in?Who knows....lots of cups involved for us this year with the Europa included, not sure if we have the depth to compete in everything at 100%. 7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on?Shotton, very athletic and strong, local lad...I really hope he plays a part for us this year. Naturally a Centre Half, however, he's been used as a striker and at times as a winger due to injuries, looked comfortable wherever he's been asked to play to be fair. 8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road?Hmmmm, our style of play tends to suit our tight narrow pitch, I think we just need to adapt better when we are playing away from home, we've brought in a few experienced players this window so maybe we will have more luck on the rod, already 4 points so that ain't bad 9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore?
I always hope we will draw them out in the FA Cup! 10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that?I think many can see our game is adapting now, with the introduction of Ethrington and Pennat, we play quick, attacking football in the main. 11. Who'll be your best players this season?Huth as long as he is played at Centre Half, problem being we have Shawcross and Woodgate occupying those positions at present. Ethrington and Pennant will be key going forward as usual, Ideally we could do with a decent goal return from one of our forwards, not to sure who will be the regular's yet, but Walters could be that guy. 12. And your worst?Hmmmmm.....Salif Dao? 13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome?Sidibe's day are up now I think, Fuller...well he's a Stoke legend and I hope he can regain full fitness, on his day he's a class act and the best footballer I have personally seen in a Stoke shirt, but the reality is, injuries may have taken their toll, we'll see. So other than that we have 4 fit strikers. 14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer?Dalglish has got a good thing going on at Liverpool and I see them finishing in the top 4 this year. Lots of young attacking BRITISH players, Henderson, Adam (although a scottish twat lol), Downing and Carroll. 15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss? He's brought some good players in, and introduced some of the younger talent - he's doing a fine Job, nice that he's doing it at a club where he has such a strong connection 16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be?
Downing - if we play Huth (who's a Centre Back by trade) he may just give him the run a round. 17. Where will both teams be in the table come May?Stoke 8th-12th Liverpool - 4th 18. And finally, what will be the score?I'd take a draw right now, I think we'll need a goal to do so, I'll go 1-1 Read more: oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Potters&action=display&thread=173584#ixzz1Wy3Z8WRo

So. Why Liverpool then? There you are, you decide to pick a team from England to follow. Hmm, but who to choose, someone with history errrrrrm.................................................... I know. Liverpool- 18 league titles, 7 FA cups 7league cups 5 European titles & 3 Euefa cups. Don't care if you are only 16, still a fuckin gloryhunter Alright, I'll explain. I was about 9 when Liverpool played Chelsea in the semi-final of the Champions League(not that I was aware of that then, mind). Over in Holland, Champions League-kick-offs are at 2045 and usually that was too late and my parents told me to go to bed before kick-off. This time though, I was on holiday and was allowed to watch the game, so I was buzzing with excitement just for a game of football rather than being in bed listening to the radio. Just the atmosphere at Anfield and the unbelievable joy afther the whistle did it for me. What Liverpool showed that night was nowhere near good football. I had actually no idea who they were, but I was really blown away by the passion that their fans showed that night. It's just the sort of thing you don't get in Holland.

sorry was bit pissed off so was answering everyone like shit ;D ill redo it and ignore me being a tosser. 1. What do you make from you start to the season?Good, seemed bit tired at Norwich but this international break come at right time for next week. Should be back to full fitness for you and hopefully make a good game of it. 2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it?Too young to know about last time, for me its up and down. Brill for the club and growth of us but i hate not being able go, and no way i can afford go the away ;D 3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer?Very pleased with Palacios, think Jerome will be a surprise and become one of best signings for a while 4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania? With some, but they are only the ones who find anything and everything to moan about. 5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final? The score ruined it, look back on semi final day more. 6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in?Was there an upset last time? We had the easy route through maybe got a bit lucky in some rounds. 7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on?I like the look of Ben Marshall Linky. Dont watch much youth games though. 8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road?Think we are slowly getting there, we should pick up some more points this season away from home. 9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore?Doesn't bother me in the slightest, never really disliked them. They only exist to hate us it seems. 10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that?Taken over Man Utd for me for most hated team, hate everything about them. So i kinda like it when they call us that, means they care. 11. Who'll be your best players this season?Pennant and Huth 12. And your worst?nobody, anyone who comes off bench will do a job for us. 13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome?Only had 2 fit strikers at start of season Jones and Walters, so with Crouch and Jerome it gives us options, also Jerome was brought for wing cover. 14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer?Gone about it right way, just paid over the odds. 15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss?Keegan for Newcastle? youll still finish top half mind. 16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be?Be honest there isnt any im worried about. Our defence is big enough to take on Carroll, but we play against players like Suarez and they dont really bother us unless you have someone in midfield who can split our defence with 1 ball... which isnt Adam. Dont rate him at all. 17. Where will both teams be in the table come May?Both top half pushing for top 10, maybe you bit higher 18. And finally, what will be the score?2-1 stoke, Crouch will score on his debut against his old team. Youll score make it 2-1 near end.

No, It's not as if he come on here being abusive or slagging Stoke off. If he want's to follow Liverpool then that's his choice. It does bug me that people latch onto "big" clubs when they have no affilliation to the area etc.. I shouldn't really care less to be honest,

1. What do you make from you start to the season? Sound start, with 'new' faces could get much better.
2. How does it feel to be back in Europe after nearly forty years out of it? Love it! I remember the last time as well!!!
3. What do you make from your club's transfer dealings this summer? No real shocks and we will have to keep spending 'big' to retain our position.
4. Could your boss Tony Pulis be any more popular at the Brittania? He's like Marmite, some love him others loathe him, mainly due to his style of play.
5. You reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in you history. How do you look back on that campaign and the day of the final? With pride
6. And is there a realistic chance of another cupset in one of the three cups you're involved in? Depends on draw
7. Are there any youth players who are worth keeping an eye on? Ryan Shotton is about the only 'young' player I really know.
8. How does it come that you are a really tough then when playing at home, but still a bit of a roll over side when on the road? I think this will change with our new forward firepower, as for 'roll over' no way we take no prisoners.
9. Do you think it's a shame that the derby between your club and neighbours Port Vale isn't played anymore? Not really as we are used to watching quality football.
10. When other teams' supporters(particularly Arsenal's) are criticising you because of your supposed ugly football, do you really give a damn about that? Not at all, has Wengar looked in a mirror lately??
11. Who'll be your best players this season? Begovic our keeper Top Man.
12. And your worst? Mama Sidibe
13. Don't you think you're having a lot of strikers right now with Crouch, Fuller, Sidibe, Jones and Jerome? That's a funny question to ask when you have a squad of 25????????
14. Then Liverpool. What do you make of the revolution at Anfield and our transfer dealings this summer? Ok Carragher,Gerrard are both too old so an injection of new blood was needed and going back to 'in house' management sound. Having 19 players and rest of squad U21's bodes well for the future.
15. And how do you feel on Kenny Dalglish, our boss? As it used to be at Liverpool, promotion from within!!
16. If there was one Liverpool player you could choose to disappear in our line-up and you couldn't say Suarez(because that's becoming a bit boring now) who would it be? Bellamy, cos we wanted him!!
17. Where will both teams be in the table come May? Liverpool 4th Stoke 9th
18. And finally, what will be the score? 1 V 1

Liverpool are still a massive club and are world renowned or why isn't he a Tranmere fan? I live in Leek and if i was supporting my local team it wouldnt even be Leek Town it would be Ball Haye Green...and you squeek...would it be Kidsgrove Athletic ? If we all supported the most local team to where we lived....The Brit might well have about 1500 fans every match day...
