This would be the perfect transfer. Been saying it all bloody year not just in the last few weeks.
He offers us everything we require at the moment in terms of covers for both wings and a striker role.

Yeah never gona happen, he's already said he'd like a move back to Liverpool. Even a move to QPR would be a more likely choice than Stoke. May as well forget this one.

I can understand him going to QPR based on monetary purposes and that he'd be a big, important player for them this season.
But going to Liverpool to sit on th ebench surely won't appeal to him - or will it?
Modern day footballers, I'm aware, are only interested in money but you'd think given his statements last year saying about playing first team football etc would mean he'd favour a move to Stoke, QPR etc.
Who knows?
All I know is I'd love to see him in a Stoke shirt for our next game against Liverpool.
