Four matches on the bounce if you include the Thun games.

How is it negative to say that we were shite and we won.
We were shite. We did win.
It's not negative.
Apart from Bego, and maybe the two centrehalves, name me anyone who had a half decent game?

We were magnificent. Perfect tactics by TP performed beautifully by our weary band of warriors. We frustrated, stiffled, smothered and contained our opponents before hitting them with a sucker punch. That is the knid of football that will take us up to the next level.

Is it me or am I the only one who thought we played well today. I only watched it in the pub but I thought we closed them down Really well, and the defence worked really hard.Only cause for concern Was in the final third but I expect that to be put right this week. I was encouraged by the performance even before shotts late Goal.

Possession is an odd statistic. They don't count the time when the ball is not in play (waiting for throw-ins, free kicks and whatever). So, if you said the ball was in play for 70-minutes - which without Rory it might be? - then 1% is less than 1 minute of play. So the difference between 48 and 52 is about 3 minutes on the ball. That's nowt. That said, you can see why, we have started to try and keep it, if we aren't under pressure at the back ... not for long and not to do anything tactical. There's been a subtle change in what we do, I think because our-Tone is worried about players recovering from the Thursday night games. We no longer hare about like crazed rabbits ... Which should be pleasing some people on here no end, eh?! ... Our wingers (the only two at the club) aren't charging about (in defense, as well as offense), our two strikers aren't dashing back and forth across the line in defense. We are still trying to be tight in the middle. That change - plus the attempts to slow it down a bit, occasionally - get us the extra 3 or 4 minutes on the ball (and the lack of Rory's half-hour preperation also helps us). Assuming the twinkle in our-Tone's eyes - when answering the dreaded question - means three or four are coming in before Thursday, I think most of those changes will be temporary. Stoke become tippy-tappy!!! Well, someone had to try and make up for the quality lost when Arsenal decided releagtion and club-rebuilding were the way forward
