Can you imagine the headlines today if that was one of our players making that tackle, especially Ryan.
Come on press vilify Blunderland for their disgusting dirty tactics

Its really getting to me now, this stoke are a dirty team thing really annoys me. Frimpong yesterday was horrendous in my opinion, arsenal have had more red cards than us since we came up, more horrendous tackles and a lack of discipline but we will always be the dirty team and they will always play great football ( which they didnt yesterday, they were wank ). Will it ever change

Not to mention, again another handball on the line by Blunderland.

Why does it bother so many Stokies?
Why should the opinion of anyone else apart from you, count?
I really coudn't care what they print, I know if it was one of our players it'd be blown out of proportion but it's fashionable to criticise a Stoke City side in the Premier League, it isn't going to change.

Not to mention, again another handball on the line by Blunderland. And not to mention Shola's handball 2 seconds before Larsson handballed it thus making Larssons handball void as play should have been stopped. It was a frustrated tackle in possibly the fiercest rivalry in England. Seriously lads, use your noggings and apply some context. A derby match without full-blooded tackles isn't a real derby. Anybody wanna make a thread about how we were denied a stone wall penalty for a tackle on Richardson? Newcaslte's time-wasting antics? Or some of the Newcaslte challenges that were equally as bad, including one on Bardsley? Seriously lads, this witch-hunt against us getting silly.

So by that logic, everytime someone accidentally breaks another players leg, it would acceptable for another member of that team to go and snap the culprit's?
You can't take the laws of the game into your owns hands NO PUN INTENDED.

Disgraceful tackle and just imagine the press reaction if Shawcross had made that tackle

I'm referring to the fact you lot are ready to throw the book at us and are happy to slag us off, whilst neglecting to do the same for Newcastle. In the instance of the handball, justice was served. As if the law was being followed, then play should have been stopped beforehand for the Newcaslte handball. You cant ignore the first handball then criticise the second for not being penalised.

I actually think that the refs must know exactly what is going on, surely it's their job and in their interests to keep an eye on the discipline table. Then they'll find we aren't a dirty side, and to be honest since Pulis' big bitch fets about refs after that run of crap decisions, refs on the whole have been pretty good, and a couple of occasions (Sunderland at home especially) decisions have gone for us.

Maybe we are quick to criticise Sunderland on here - but that's because we've had one of your "fans" trolling this board for the last few days telling us how Sunderland are superior to Stoke in every way - and characterising your players as masters of the footballing art and ours as thugs.
Strange that he's disappeared now...

Oh come on, take a closer look to home on your own board before criticising our fans for criticising yours. Your fans have delusions of grandeur, have spent a hell of a lot more money than us, and finish below us twice out of last 3 seasons. Would have been 3 out of 3 if we hadn't messed up last day, but this shows how close in quality our teams are even if you think you should be euro contenders.

Strange that he's disappeared now... I understand that, but making umpteen threads about a couple of bad challenges in a derby match, and acting extremely bitter and twisted about the fact we lost is only going to provoke more of the idiots. We got our just rewards, we lost our heads and lost our discipline towards the end, justice was done in the sense that we then lost a man and went on to lose the game. What more needs to be said? Newcaslte had a couple of horrid challenges as well, but hey-ho.

The slow-mo from MOTD last night still has me clutching my shin and wincing. A thousand times worse than the 50-50 Ramsey tackle in terms of ferocity and intent, but with fortunately less severe consequences.
