Brighton have sold over 17,000 season tickets.
Since Brighton fans are for the most part 'full of it', I'd like to see them fall flat on their asses, however I'm realistic enough to know that won't happen and they will soon be making their way up the divisions.

What a miserable few, some of you are. Would you have continued your support in the lower divisions, (or even the higher) if our home games had demanded a trip to Coventry, the roughly equivalent distance to Gillingham and then another ten seasons at that daft stadium at Withdean, where they had to pick up litter, after the game, as part of the neighbour's contractual demands?
Thirteen seasons of such stoicism deserves a bit of bragging, although most supporters I know are merely grateful and in dreamland and I suspect it's the newcomers.
I shall be one of them, after I've finished this. Having joined their amazingly always peaceful protests, over the years, I can't wait to share their delight, this afternoon. Just wish they had car parking places but can't have it all.

Good luck to both of those teams, coming back from such lowly positions deserves a lot of credit, well done to the fans of those clubs.

I pass the new Brighton ground every day on the way to work. Impressive looking but built in the worst place ever.
Well outside of the centre of the city, next to a couple of universities and a small village which REALLY didn't want the stadium building there.
I'm going there on Tuesday to see Gillingham play them in the cup and there isn't even any bloody parking for away fans.
In a nutshell, nowhere to park, nowhere to drink.

Completely agree Monica (hope you are well by the way) It's been a pretty rubbish time to have been a Brighton supporter in the last few years, with a strong core of their supporters following them through thick and thin. It's a shame that the voices that are often remembered are the wrong ones....but it's the same wherever you go. For all that say they hate Brighton because of an arrogant few - look outwards in at Stoke and the vocal minority that tends to be remembered and shapes your opinion and I guess you would feel the same about us. Good club. Good times for them. They deserve this. Give them a shout from me and enjoy your day.

Brighton couldnt (due to the council) get a stadium anywhere else though

True....but if they were moving out of town there were some better places they could have gone.
To put it in perspective, it would be the equivalent of us moving to play in Mow Cop.

They honestly thought/still think they're the Arse of Div 1, but hey you go on and enjoy the "i couldn't watch that every week", "I'd rather be in div 2 that play like that" and whatever other comments.

It's fantastic that Wimbledon have gotten themselves back into the football league, and all the best to them! The supporters had their club stolen away and moved. I can't wait for the day they beat MK Dons

Who are the "they" you are talking about? Five, ten, maybe fifteen fans out of 17,000 seasonticket holders? Don't you think we also have five, ten or maybe even fifteen gobby, annoying fans at Stoke? I reckon we do - and a few more! In fact I'd be hard pressed to name a club without a few gobby fans. Perhaps you could tell me the names of these clubs without any fans who are a bit too full of it? Congratulations to Brighton for finally building a stadium to be proud of and congratulations to their long suffering fans for staying the course after being shafted so many years ago. Respect!

17,000 wtf . They didnt sell out a 7,500 stadium last year whilst pissing the league, great that they can get plenty of new support(through cheap offers and such) but last year 6,700 was a good crowd. Long suffering fans my arse, this is a club that used every shitty trick in the book from its friends in the media to escape relegation to the conference ensuring a proper club Hereford went instead.

Apart from the main stand it's an odd looking stadium, like the Brit it needs seats in the corners.

The away end will have guest ales from the away team's local area, screens with return train times and the lighting in the concourse will change according to the away team's colours. All nice touches and fair play to them for being different. Must have had a gay stadium planner Shame they didn't go through with the seating that showed a seagull having a shit though.
