What would happen if Pennant and Fuller were in the same squad?
Don't want Pennant joining Stoke, he's scum.

2 years ago would have said definitely no. But he seems to have calmed and matured over the past couple of seasons. If anybody can continue his rehabilitation into the human race then its TP and PC. Considering we would get him free and he is a very very good play maker yes go get him imo.

Think Barton would be a good signing for us good midfielder and can score goals. The only thing that lets him down is he hits like a girl !!!

Barton is teetotal and reads philosophy and politics all day now according to the Sunday Times.
I fear an intellectual heavyweight like this may be way too sophisticated for our dressing room.

is there any suggestion at all (i.e. in the media) that Stoke are or have been interested in Joey Barton?

Its a well known fact that Huth rules the Stoke dressing room and I don't think either of them are stupid enough to attempt to tangle with Huth ;D ;D ;D

Quality player, but Im afraid he could have a bad influence on the dressing room. Barton is just like a bomb waiting to explode - you just know he's gonna do something stupid or nasty at some point. I wouldn't take the risk on him.

Just what we need. I really rate him, creative, tackles and scores goals, but has some obvious problems.

He would run our midfield for the next 4-5 seasons. Great passer, good in the tackle, bit of an edge. Sounds just like what we need in the middle of the park. Whether we can manage him off the pitch is another matter, but if anyone can, it's probably Tony.

Sorry, don't want Barton within a million miles of my club.
He is not fit to wear the famous red and white.

You're the type of bloke who sits by the bar and argues with anything anyone says aren't you mate? You know absolutely nothing about me. In my simplistic error I assumed that as this was a discussion board, I was allowed an opinion. Forgive me. Next time my opinion is required, please let me know what it is so that I can reply.
