swansea have offered 1.5mill for him. For that sort of price he would be great cover for pennant I think - he was excellent for qpr last season on loan. Always had a lot of potential but struggled to make the step up to the premier league, but i think he would be a good impact sub for us - bags of pace, frightens players when he runs at them. Pulis is good at getting the best out of players. go for him tone.

I don't think he's good enough for us, and probably a little bit too small at 5ft 7in

I like him. I would definitely pay more than 1.5m for him.

Would be good cover for both wings, nothing more.

I don't think he's good enough for us, and probably a little bit too small at 5ft 7in he wouldnt be a first team player, but we need to improve our first team and our squad, and he wont break the bank for fee or wages, and he would be something different to throw on if we are chasing a game and when a pennant or ethers is tierd.

To be honest I don't think we should be looking for back-ups. Routledge wouldn't even put pressure on Pennant for a starting place.

Would be good cover for both wings, nothing more. exactly, and so for that price he'd be worth going for i think. we need more squad depth but can't afford to buy loads of players at pennat or matty's standard.

To be honest I don't think we should be looking for back-ups. Routledge wouldn't even put pressure on Pennant for a starting place. we can't afford to buy better players or players as good as pennant or matty though. We need 2 better full backs than we currently have, 2 better centre mids, and a striker to challlenge. On top of that we cannot afford wingers better than matty or pennant, wing is not a priority, cover for the wing is, routledge would therefore be a good cheap back up player.

Forgot about Wayne Routledge. Yeh, would be useful back-up to our first choice wingers, assuming he's still as quick and tricky as he was a few years ago.

I've heard his mum Patricia is a better footballer. From what I've seen of him, I think this is quite possibly true.

I think i'd be half pleased with this. He's not all that good, but at least our balance wouldn't suffer whenever Ethers or Pennant get injured. I dunno. He seems attainable. Delap or Whitehead on the wing again is a horrific prospect.

Would be cover on both flanks, can't really go wrong for that sort of money, but I think he will prefer a leading role for Swansea as a potential key player for them.
