Someone's just informed me that we've been linked with this fella for the last couple of seasons. Never heard of him to be honest. Doesn't look like an archetypal Pulis forward, does he

Somebody else will have to buy his fags and ale for him. He'll never get served in Bargain Booze.

I asked a Norweigan with limited English skills anout him the other day, he just made a gagging gesture with his fingers down his throat, don't really know what that supposed to mean though!

I'd be happy to have him as cover for the wings and up front as well. probably cheap wages as well. he always puts a good shift in for the national team!

Huseklepp's a tall player but not very good in the air, his strength is with the ball at his feet challenging opponents with his high energy level, quick feet and trickery. Versatile in the attack, prefer to roam around a strike partner - behind the striker or even on the right wing where he broke through and have been given most of his game for the Norwegian national team.
Consistency hardly his game though, he can miss an open goal in the same game he dribble a couple of players and lob the goalie.
Bari is trying to play hardball, they bought him for £1m, if you can call it bought when they haven't even paid for him yet. They are in financial trouble and got relegated this year. As long as there's no bidding auction it should be possible to sign Huseklepp for £2m and to be honest beside Celtic (followed him for years) I don't think there are many challengers out there, he's considered a bit untested despite his talent. It took a long time before a foreign club took a chance on him.
Think he'd be a good servant for Stoke if signed at a right price. One season in the Prem and I reckon he'll be rated at 5m. Just try to put in a low bid to begin with, Bari aren't in a good bargaining position.

How times change, Celtic unable to find £4M, that's not a lot in the Premiership or even Championship these days.

Why the fuck would anybody favour a move to Scotland? That's basically like favouring a move to League 1 over the Premier League.

He's got one of those faces you just want to hit with a pan shovel He is a very modest and nice guy! Not a bad purchase for around £1.5M - £2M, but I wouldn't risk more. Good squad player as I've said before, but I rate Jon Walters more (Erik will chase everything too).
