As an exiled Stokie living 15 miles inland from Scarborough (near Malton for those of you that know the area), I'm hoping to get down to Stoke to see a few more games this season and I was wondering if there are any more fellow supporters up here that would be interested in sharing the travelling down for some matches? or even getting together for a pint when we have any televised games. Either reply or pm me. Cheers BP

Cheers GD,
Honest Injun? Fell out of love for the great game (and a number of things), personal reasons, but looking to get back on the (band) waggon again. Life must go on and all that shit :-)

In the process of moving back up to York (working there at the moment but my wife and daughter - and our house - are in Stoke until the end of August).
My stoke shirt will often be seen in York, Selby (where my parents live) and Scarborough (where my mother-in-law lives).
Good to hear that there are others with top footballing taste in North Yorkshire!
Only prob is what I do with my username - will be living in either Haxby or Wigginton and I can't get either to work with any stoke related words.

I'm in York - Poppleton to be exact. Season ticket holder, occasional Oatcake poster and avid follower of all things Stoke. We could have a bus load of us for games at this rate...

north york cosmos. I was kinda hoping it would get to the point of there being a mini bus of us. That'd be pretty cool! I met a visitor to my workplace who is a local to Ripon but a big stokie, he told me there were quite a few stokies in that area. Packmoorpotter, couldn't you become yorkmoorspotter? ;-)

Moved to York about 18 months ago and yet to find another Stoke fan.
I'm going to be watching the Chelsea match in either "The Loop" or "The Terrace" with a couple of mates (both Newcastle fans). Inbox me if you want to join us.
cheers

Moved to York about 18 months ago and yet to find another Stoke fan. There's a few Stoke fans in the York area - I know there are some in Strensall amongst other places. As my name gives away, I'm in Pocklington so not that far away. A few other North Yorkshire stokies can be found here: oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/167597/north-yorkshire-stokies
