I'm so sick of players being liked with stoke and then going to others clubs
Its time stoke raise their wage barrier. With a 4th successive year in the prem, surely we can raise the bar a bit higher? (10k - 15k)

To be honest, by trying to stabilise and remain on an even financial footing, we need to keep the wage structure as it is. Looking at last years accounts the wage expenditure rose immensely leaving us with a high turnover/wage percentage. Play the waiting game and our targets will come... at a lower rate than if we tried to sign them early on.

you are right tubes
we should try to emulate
Leeds, portsmouth & hull who chucked silly money at average players, with a bit of luck & the wind in our favour we could be in adminsitration in 18 months

Paying over the odds is the road to ruin, as so many other clubs have proved, we appear to be well run and well managed by a board & manager that won't gamble with our future for the sake of short term gain (are you listening Peter Ridsdale).
Quoting £10-15k is a bit low anyway, I doubt any of our first team are on this, Kenwyne is rumoured to be on £40k p/w, Huth, Shawcross & Pennant in particular can't be far short of this
