Dario. The bloke who has done fuck all for Crwho fans. Had some good young players in the past. But really. As a fan you get fuck all back from this bloke. I'm dreading the day he retires and we have to listen to all the longest serving manager and what a great bloke bollocks. He is without doubt the most boring man in the world ever. And has the most boring club and fans in the world ever to boot.
Can't stand em If you hadn't noticed ;D

I would think all Dario's players are good at catching (...the soap, before it lands on the floor in the showers )

So if their second year academy keeper isnt training with the adults, who is he training with?
Dario doesnt believe in keeper coaches, he thinks he can do it himself.
I once saw him drag their academy keeper off the pitch for....over arm throwing the ball out to the full back instead ofbowling it out.
Im guessing any keeper who kicks a ball clear doesnt get any barbecue by th swimming pool invites?

Any player at any age playing any position on the pitch in league or non-league football needs regular coaching and a goalkeeper plays in a specialised position requiring specific coaching. That's how players learn to develop.
Interesting comments from Steve Phillips as he is also a keeper coach working at the Shavington astro pitches with younger keepers.

In fairness I do wonder how Gordon Banks managed. If Liverpool feel the need to have a lower league non achiever coaching their academy Im perplexed as to what the point is

I think the lack of specialised 'keeper coaches is one of the reasons we have a load of shite 'keepers nowadays. Look at the Spanish (I know it's tedious but they are good). They have 4/5 'keepers that are better than our number one.

Always wondered what Ronnie Sinclair gets up to in coaching sessions.
I imagine he plays an old video of himself, and says to the goalies: "Don't do this!"

It goes without saying that we don't have enough coaches in this country but then specialities within that ie 'keeping it is beyond poor!

Unless at the highest level, goalkeeping doesn't generally get the focus it deserves, hence many clubs look beyond our borders for better coached keepers, not necessarily better keepers and home-grown keepers free-fall through the leagues.
