I think we'd have more to lose than they would.

If we lost then granted our pride would be damaged. But lets face it, out of us and them, who are the real loosers?

Loose loose situation. We beat them and they'll say "your a premier league club, you should beat us easily", and if we loose then fuck me we'll never hear the end of it!

If the game was at the Wemberlee of the North would our players be allowed to change before the game at the Brit to avoid being subjected to the unhygenic changing rooms at Vale Park? ;D

What a massive kick in the knackers it would be if their board decided to play it at our ground to increase revenue ;D

Teams lose to other in the FA Cup all the time. I wouldn't mind us drawing Vale but can we not play it at their shitehole?

The Europa League should provide us with ample opportunity to rub shoulders with a range of toothless, straw sucking simpletons with a loose commitment to personal hygiene and a dubious understanding of the concept of incest. No need to go to Burslem to feel superior now. *

If it was at the Brit no problem with the result, However what kind of team would TP pick at Vale Park? I think it would be a close game

Do we enter at a later stage this season, due to our European involvement?
I'm not sure - but if we do, then 'Vale will have to progress for an extra round to be in the draw with us.

I don't get this Lose Lose bullshite... I would LOVE to get Vale in the cup. A proper derby at Vale park, I'd trust Pulis to put the right team out as he knows how much it would mean to the supporters.
We could HAMMER them and then we have bragging rights that we are (even though we already know this) FAR FAR superior.

Lets put this into perspective, we've just spent £500,000 on our traing pitch. Vale can't afford 1% of this for a player. What would we prove in playing the Vale. When we got promoted it was so we didn't have to slum it at Vile park and grisley road anymore.

For FA Cup finmalists who are becoming a stable Premier club Vale are depressingly prominent on this mb.

Nothing to be gained by playing them, except maybe an injury or two to our artisans.
They're best left to rot. I doubt they'll make it far enough into the competition to play us anyway. ;D

The saddest thing for Vale is that i dont actually hate them anymore. They are a little local team of no significance these days. Vale mean no more to me than Leek Town or Newcastle Town. Arsenal, Man UTD, Cardiff. They top the list of our hated teams nowadays. What a sad state it is for that little club from Burslem!

If we drew the Vale in the cup we would definitely lose.
Absolutely no need for it.
