Anybody any ideas on the following?
When I upgraded my PC some time back I burnt a fair few files (docs, jpgs, mp3s, powerpoint presentations etc) on to CD for safekeeping.
I'm now trying to put these files back on my machine... the CD reads ok and offers me the correct files but none of the files will open or copy across. e.g. if I try to open a jpg I just get "no preview available", if I try to copy a presentation from the cd to my HD I get an "Incorrect Parameter" error. The size of the files indicate that everything copied ok to the disk but I just cant seem to access them for some reason.
Anyone any ideas? I think I burnt them using Windows ME built in tools. I'm currently running XP...could this be anything to do with it?

I had a similar thing whereby I could view files on a CD on my lad's PC with ME but when I viewed on my PC (XP) i saw different files completely!
I think that it's something to with drivers.
