Have we, as a society, really got to the stage where it is now too much trouble to go out, buy someone a card, sign your name and put it in a fucking postbox?
Yes send a card to that special person on that special occasion, but they're not special enough to be worth the trouble of dragging yourself away from the computer for half an hour!
Like my arse fucky moon animal.

Do you think people said the same in the times of yesteryear when card shops opened just changing it to "too much trouble to make a person a card, sign your name and put it in a fucking postbox".
Same thing really, exept with this latter addition to the card market you actually get more customised options than with a generic from the shop card.

Well you can have customised cards and get them sent to your house and write it yourself, no issue to me, a lot more thought is put into things like that than going a card shop and getting an irrelevant card.

I don't buy cards either, but i prefer to receive the customized ones as they're generally quite amusing.
Plus, cards seem to be bloody expensive for what they are, from the shops.

This, it actually takes more effort customising the card and writing the message inside than going to the card section when you're in Sainsbury's an picking one of the shit handful of cards they have on offer. Talk about moaning for moaning's sake.

i tell people not to buy me cards, as soon as i have read them i throw them away. I would rather people save there money or buy me a pint (which can be cheaper!)

Cards are almost as big a waste of money as flowers.

To be honest, i tend not to share my 'real' problems on here as 99 percent of the stuff is a pisstake and on about the same level as someone bitching about something in the pub over silly shit. I appologise and in future i will PM you and check it is ok to have a light hearted and pointless grumpy moan about something
