There is a thread on there right now that is running to four pages claiming that Bill Bratt is a Stoke fan and their downfall is down to us!
Here is a typical post!
You couldnt make it up!
The truth is of course that if our supporters had hatched a plan to do away with the Vale, we couldnt have done the job better than their own shambolic supporters do for themselves.
Their supporters buy out board that they elected have reduced them to floundering around in league toilet dreaming of being able to compete with Accrington Stanley. When they try and get rid of them and replace them with one of the areas more ehem! controversial businessmen they cant muster up the brains between them to vote off a few blokes who have hardly invested a bean in the place!
Utter, utter fuckwits doesn't do em justice!
We cant compete in the destroy Vale stakes!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My God, Bratty must have the patience of a saint. Hasn't he been going to the Vale for literally donkey's years? This must have been the most determined and prolonged plan in the history of all cunning plans!

The one thing we have in common with Vale fans as that Stoke come first. They care more about what's happening with us than their own at times. Can't say I've ever celebrated a Vale defeat as a Stoke win the way they celebrate a Stoke defeat.

This must have been the most determined and prolonged plan in the history of all cunning plans! He's Vale through and through, he even spent a number of years when he originally took over from Bell working for free to ensure the club kept spending down. Like us they do have their idiot fans, but that post at the top takes a special kind of stupid.

Good point, I quite like Man United and would much prefer them to win the title year after year than see Liverpool, Citeh, Arsenal or Chelsea win it. There's no doubt there are a lot of fans who seem to think that Man United are our biggest rivals though "we only hate Man United" etc Saying that I think it was more a case of taunting them while they were down last year than being genuinely happy to see them fail.

I never mentioned that the thread is on OneValeFan of course. It's the site that markets itself as the Worlds leading independent Port Vale site! Just think of the competition that must be out there to provide a service to the mass throngs of unwashed to really appreciate that claim. Here is more classic comedy, 'I was told last night that Bill Bratt is alleged to actually be a Stoke City fan. All his family including brother, mother in law etc are all Stoke City fans. Bratt was alleged to be at both Stoke City's recent FA Cup Semi Final & FA Cup Final game's. Not a single Port Vale supporter that I talk to can remember Bill Bratt at any games home or away before or should I say, until after the conception of Valiant 2001 Not a single Port Vale fan that I talk to had ever heard of Bill Bratt until after the conception of Valiant 2001 Just to add more sense the above, I believe that Bratts all time favourite Stoke City player is Alan Hudson and when Bratty became close friends with Alan Hudson when he was playing for Stoke. If you speak to Bill Bratt, he will tell you about all the old players that he use to watch at the Old Victoria Ground Finally, has somebody put on another thread "Only a Stoke fan would ***k us over like he has."

They really do believe this Choudry bloke isn't out to try and make brass out of them. I told them his middle name is Gravedigger, although he won't find many gold rings to cut off Fail's fingers when they go out of business. ;D If I was Bill, I'd be out of the door like a shot and leave them to their inevitable fate. It's nothing less than the brain dead sods deserve, and I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the old club meself. OS.

It all started with Bill Bratt's father............his name was .......Beeching Beeching cunningly closed the North Staffs Loop Line The Sole purpose of The Loop Line was to ferry thousands of Fans across the Potteries to... The Wembley of The North Beeching / Bratt thereby denied PVFC their right to become The English Barcelona.... Bratt's Uncle..............who became Dangerzone Derek's grandfather, used to serve............. Tony Waddington quadruple G&T's in The North Staff hotel bar This led to Bratt being taken to the VC for Stanley Matthews Testimonial, as a kid in April 1965 There the seed was sown for the ultimate humiliation......... Part II to be continued

In the OP I genuinely thought that the Vale fan was going to say 'it's not outside the realms of possibility that in 07/08 Vale could've had a fantastic season and reached the Premier League themselves'.
Instead, the thought process is that if Vale had been in the championship they would've done the double over us and stopped us going up... seriously, they think if the 'Mighty Fail' had been in the championship, instead of say.. Sheff Wed, then Stoke City would not be in the Premier League.
How often have they actually done a league double over us? once?
I tell you one thing, that Bill Bratt should pick my lottery numbers if he could see into the future and predict that Stoke City would need a Port Fail free championship on 2007/08 in order to progress to the Premier League.
