Whilst in one way teams around us are losing prize assets, it also means they have a load more wonga to splash around
Couple that with the top 5 all having reportedly big pots of gold to spend, this is probably lightening up the cash tills of all clubs, players and agents, with £m's added to any target
Could well be the stupidiest of stupid transfer windows - when wil this madness stop?

Yes - the new homegrown and financial fair play rules will come in the season after next so clubs will go mental.
Jordan Henderson - £20million + Ngog. L'pool have lost the plot.

i said this 10 days ago or so cos of the new uefa rulings, and im worried how it will impact on us. We dont have a lot of talent that we want to flog to raise money due to our already thin squad and we dont have the financial clout of other clubs around us.

Yep - even king stupid of the stupidiest kingdom, (ten times running champion, mind you) as just stated 'I give up, how does one compete with that stupidty'
Never a more apt phrase used a lot in the 80's plus - love football, hate footballers.
Jimmy Hill although well intentioned as a lot to answer for. I miss the battered cortina with a hero getting out of it with a bacon butty in hand.

Manchester City haven't even started yet. Wait till the signings start flowing in up there.
