Right, you can only eat one type of animal again for the rest of your life.
What animal?
And as a side question, what cut/preparation/meal is your favourite, but that's not exclusive, ie you can eat other meals as long as they contain that animal or are meat-free. This bit's solely for fun.

Healthy, and versatile as you say... But probably the most boring of the Big Four (chicken, cow, pig, sheep) and the other more exotic game meats etc. Don't get me wrong it can be delicious cooked properly or as the base for a curry or fried rice dish, but for me, a beef steak is THE shit. Also fairly versatile, rarely used in curries because of tradition but it works well. Pies, burgers if one is so inclined, cottage pie, fajitas, roast... Nom nom nom.
Although my rampant hypochondria suggests that I may have gout, and although this is nothing but a self-diagnosis, I'm not sure I'd risk it in the long term.

I prefer beef and pork products, but I think with chicken you can have chinese, italian, indian, mexican, even chicken burgers, can have it with a roast dinner or in a pie, only thing it doesn't work as is mince or steak. Whilst I love a steak and mince, I'd get bored if that's all I ate.

I'll go for pig. Ribs, bacon and pulled pork win it.
I have to say I love my steaks though Filet Mignon that melts in the mouth...
I also love chicken wings.
Lamb is a very poor 4th.

Chicken, has the most variety. It also has no flavour. Pork or beef all the way. Saying that, I also like printers.

chicken can be used in anything really (and I had a 12oz sirloin last night) Chicken has plenty of flavour, just don't buy it from supermarkets where it's pumped full of water and grown in the dark and fed on shit.

Spring Lamb is difficult to beat, I love good beef too. Not fussed about chicken or pork though a friend of mine rears organic pig and that's in a different class to the old boar meat some butchers sell..

"the big four" Pig wins it trotters down. Sausage (thousands of varieties) , bacon (smoked of course), gammon steaks, pork chops, ham, loin, ribs blah-blah-fucking-blah... I'd like to own a pig and just chop bits off every day whenever I fancy some pigmeat.

Another vote for pig!
Pork joint + crackling Pork chops Bacon Ham Gammon Sausages even minced pork is quite good.....
I had a home made pork curry last week (due to defrosting the wrong pack of meat) and it was flipping lovely. Also isn't greek donner meat made from pork?
Pigs rule the farm!

Probably chicken, it's probably worth it for the health factor considering how much meat I eat. Chicken thigh is easily the best kind of chicken meat.

i'm with cupid on this.
as much as i love a good steak now and again, i couldn't eat beef for 2 meals a day, every day, for the rest of my life (didn't orson wells infamously eat 2 steaks a day, and die because of it?)
chicken is pretty good for you. it's easily manageable to have it twice a day, every day, for the rest of your life, so that keeps your body in check. and chicken goes with a wider variety of food cultures (for lack of a better word), to keep you from getting bored of it.

There is a good argument for pork on this thread and i would miss beef as i fucking love burritos and burgers, but i could quite happily live on chicken for the rest of my days.
Chicken fajitas, smothered in sour cream with a fresh crispy salad and warm cheesey homemade tortilla chips for me.

So pig for me, which is good because barbecued pork is also lovely.

Bitches don't know 'bout my mycoproteins. Seriously though, it'd be close between chicken (versatile, as stated above) and tuna (grilled tuna steak= best food in the world). Not a fan of pig-based produce (it's my inner Jew).

I had a Quorn burger once, it was horrific, like a disc of plastic powdered with Bisto. Anyone ever tried the mince? Yes, Used to know a girl who was a veggie so I cooked a chili con carnie with quorn mince. It tasted ok but I was farting like a trooper afterwards, which wasn't good when I was trying to get her in bed to be romantic. Also accidentally bought some 'chicken style' Quorn escalopes from Sainsbury's once, they were in the reduced section. As I got there there was a tanoy anouncement about final reductions and I nearly got crushed by the scrum of people who suddenly appeared behind me, so I just grabbed the first thing that looked nice. Was pissed off when I got home to find out they were Quorn but they were moist and tasty with the same texture and flavour of chicken. This story is proof that all the chicken lovers on this thread are losers.

Get me some of those Wagyu cows and I'll happily live on them for the rest of my life. As well as make a tidy profit selling on what I can't eat.
I'd have to try it first but I imagine shark and crocodile could be quite interesting meats.
