Maybe the fact of 2 expensive visits to wembley played a massive part in it.
Draining peoples resources

People had TWO trips to Wembley that nobody realistically budgeted for at the start of the year. Plus season ticket renewals that came the months before. Plus summer holidays that people have been paying off.

I would go them all if I could afford it, but I can't, and Man City away, after losing the cup final, and with next to fuck all chance of winning, and being a tuesday night made it a no-no.

How is it a Piss take when man city fans sing stoke do the Poznan and we do God forbid anyone tried to have any fun and enjoy themselves during the worst performance of the season. They should have sat there flagellating themselves.

Ragbone82, it was a piss take, I was there and all game us stokies and the city fans to our right were taking the piss out of each other....
I commented on here after the game about the great banter we had and the fact they clapped us at the end. It was a bit of fun, and I never intend to do the Poznan again thanks.

Wrong call IMO , wasn't for me..though most doing it seemed very , very ,young in a highly excitable state ...looked more teletubie than Polish growler.

I'm guessing you want to go the the games and fight every opposition fan [/quot. Quite the opposite but neither do I want to lower myself to the standards of doing a stupid man city dance, next time we play Liverpool why don't we all join in with you'll never walk alone

It's just banter, it's not as if we're going to start doing it at home games. Don't see why people are getting so worked up about it

No great issue with it, just a wrong call IMO , others will and do have opposite views no problem
Just thought ..it was self mocking and bought ourselves down to their level ,on a night from a Stoke perpsective that should have been about demonstrating the pride in ourselves and our club
As I say most were young and excitable and in truth had probably been dying to do it a Wembley..just some things you don't copy or mimic ..or at least not on a night when you're 3 down to the same team that's just beaten you in your first ever FA cup final 3 days earlier.
My view it's about self respect..and if you haven't got any, then respect for your club , and colours

The people that make me laugh are the band of kids who go to away games and question your support. We'll see how many games they manage to make when mummy and daddy stop paying for it and they have rent/a mortgage to pay off etc...
