I have/and mats of mine have sat in home ends when we have been away a few times now. Don't see the problem with it.

It's one thing going and buying tickets in a home end that doesn't sell out (i've done this myself) - it's another a Stokie helping opposing fans get tickets in the home end when it would sell out otherwise (assuming of course this is what the guy has done).

This isn’t just one or two good mates or family though is it, he’s offering it to every man and his dog! Filling stoke seats with wigwam t**ts.
That said there a brave lot to come and sit along side stoke, best keep those lips shut or they‘ll be getting more than they paid for!

I would normally agree, but since we are getting an extra couple of thousand tickets by virtue of Wigan declining their full allocation a couple of weeks ago, and the context of the game's importance for Wigan fans, i think if i had a close mate who was a massive Wigan fan i might have done the same. I say cut the guy some slack

From what I can see he’s asking on a Wigan forum if anyone wants a ticket, very fishy if you ask me!

Meggsy Do you normally take your carpet with you? I'm Like aladin mate- it takes me every where. My rule when away and in a home end is, sit tight, stand and clap if the oppo score and keep my mouth shut- very hard at times but very do-able.

Remeber doing that a boro a few seasons back, sat with some boro mates, my daughter and I supporting stoke, when we equalised she jumped up out of her seat hands in the air and screamed YES, relaised where she was and sat down very quickly, only the seat had flipped back so she ended on her arse on the floor. Nobody gave a stuff, mind you she was only about 13, I just kept talking in German so the locals didnt understand lol

just been having a browse on the wiganer message board, and it seems that a stoke fan is selling tickets to the wigan fans in the home end!! which he is saying (the stoke part of the southstand)! If this is true then if wigan score it really could be potential chaos in there sunday. I sit in the southstand and my season ticket is 2 seats away from the usual position of the segregation and its tasty enough with the stewards and netting, never mind possible 30 to 50 wigan fans being mixed in?! There are a fair share of nutters in the southstand that wouldn't hesitate at the first sight of trouble, so if you are reading this 'stoke4life' then your a grade A tit!

If i were in the same position, i'd do everything i could to see the team on the final day if we could either stay up or go down, tbh h we are not really rivals. so can't see the problem. good luck to them for supporting the wigan FC in a town full of rugby people.

i often sit in the home end of away games and have done for more than 30 years (if i havent been able to get in the stoke end) and as long as you follow the home crowd in when to stand up and when to clap you are usually fine, if your a tit and start celebrating an away goal then your gonna get a slap and rightly so imo
this is a massive game for wigwam and if it was me i would do anything to be there, but you have to play by the rules

My season ticket is in the South stand and I have seen several away fans in the home section in the last couple of seasons. There have also been one or two neutrals, such as a Wolves fan the season before they went up.
As long as they are reasonable, and don't go out of their way to draw attention to themselves, I don't see a problem. They are footie fans after all.

30-50 Wigan fans in the south stand?
That's a few more than they usually bring.
