I was walking up Sir Stanley Matthews way earlier.
2 lads pulled up and asked if I would purchase 4 tickets for them to get in the game Sunday and they would make sure there was £20 in it for me !! ..................................they had already been refused at the ticket office.
I wished them luck but told them I would be playing no part in them getting a good hiding.
From what they were saying they were trying to get a few seats by the away end in the John Smiths.

i hope they dont wear their clogs at the match.
the stoke fan trying to get tickets for the wigan fans should think about it again. how would he feel if these wigan fans where injured or caused trouble and some stokie got injured. fans are kept apart for these reasons.

The only tickets still available are the South Stand tickets that Wigan could have accepted originally. So I would imagine there will be a few Wigan fans in there, not many though as most will be snapped up pretty quickly by Stoke fans.

If they were in the main stand then its possible they could get away with it if they kept their heads down; however in the south stand i really do fear for some of them knowing some of the lads who have season tickets in the south stand! They had better not celebrate if they score thats for sure!

This will end in tears if true.
To be honest I can't see many doing it but no doubt a few will sneak in.

No mate, on the basis they have averaged between 700 and 1000 away all season they took the smaller allocation, sold that in 3 hours and were stuck then cause stoke had released the extra blocks for sale to home fans.

Absolutely shocking that they couldn't sell an allocation of just under 3000 in a game that could see them stay up/go down!

Absolutely shocking that they couldn't sell an allocation of just under 3000 in a game that could see them stay up/go down! To be fair mate I think they could. The club took the decision to take the smaller allocation based on away attendances.

Going to be tasty in the south stand Sunday ;D no it wont given the partisan southstanders IF and i repeat IF any wigan fans have secured seats. they surely would remain in their seats for the entire 90 mins. they will be easy to spot mind as we all go mental when we score they will still be sat down looking glum. and if any of them think its wise to egt up and cheer for wigan surely that would be suicidal? esp when you consider many southstanders [inc me] were at wigan when they marred the minuites silence for sir stan then attacked women and kids being escorted thru their end
