I bet their players will love that. 8 games just to get into the group stages and a reduced summer break.
What price a few red cards for Fulham on Sunday to ensure they don't top the fair play league?
1Q June 30, July 7 2Q July 14, July 21 3Q July 28, Aug 4 4Q Aug 18, Aug 25
Mind you, the 1Q round is so weak, I bet they could field their youth team.

Crickey. june 30th start? I would still have my cricket pads and tennis shorts on then. They would hardly have a break at all

I've never actually entered the arcane world of the fair play table, naively assuming that it meant avoiding yellows and reds... www.premierleague.com/page/FairPlayTableWhat the hell is 'positive play'? If lumping it forwards without fannying about counted for anything surely we should be top??!! Only when I read that Man U have the same points total as us for 'respect for the referee' did I understand that this is a spoof table...

Looking at that 'Fair Play' league table it is quite obviously (with an odd exception randomly thrown in to confuse us) decided on a single factor that being either
1- Distance from West London or possibly even 2- Numbers of Foreign Tourists attending
The anomoly (sp?) of Blackpool led me to favour number 2 as it is an obvious choice two centre stop off on the average say Japenese (to merge another thread!) tourist's world tour of the UK after London...........& given the front row of block 121 on Saturday we may have a better placing on this scoring method next season.
Based on the judging for number 1 our standing of 18th is obviously based on the average 'cockenee' not having a scooby doo where we are in the country so guessing that we are probably up near Carlisle, being some equally grim Northern town.
The marks are then just randomly spread across the catagories to produce a league table & make it appear to have been fairly judged.
Simples!

You could literally play your womens U16 B team and you'd nail the first round of qualifying.

Our players don't argue with decisions, we make ref's laugh (you see KJ havin a laugh with the ref the other day), have we actually had a red this year, can't really remember? There's loads of teams above us in that list that are rite scum compared to us. Especially Fulham, that cunt murphy shud have bin sent off that match against liverpool, all the shit he gave us and he was vile

I imagine the 4th official scores these things? Or do the FA have an observer do it (like whatever Smithy's role is for them)?
In which case you can imagine it being a bit subjective.

In my opinion, the fair play table is a complete joke. Once you get past the cards it is completely arbitrary and based on decisions by Uefa officials, who are almost certainly corrupt and/or only listen to mainstream news opinions about football clubs because they lack the objectivity to be unbiased.
Everyone likes Blackpool? Put 'em up there. Everyone who supports Fulham is scared of life? Put 'em up there. Oh, and I see Manchester United are in 4th, despite the fact that Rooney was swearing down the camera at West Ham, Paul "Fight Club" Scholes is in their team and Alex Ferguson moans about the referee every week. How "respectful" of the referee is that?
Genuinely though, Fulham and Blackpool deserve to be up there (probably). How Arsenal are 7th and The Shit are 4th amazes me.
