Is there really any need to get people in trouble? They had a few to drink but to potentially get them banned from the footie is a bit much. Let it go. not reading anymore of this thread but bang on! its not a wimbledon tennis crowd guys, remember its a footy match best stay at home if not up for it health wise & mentally What a prize dick you are...so you should expect to get pushed over rows of seating by 2 pissed up inconsiderate pricks Maybe it was you and Stafford as you are the only ones defending them ha ha ;D Yes we all had a few yesterday, but you know what,i didn't go in barging anyone around or shouting abuse and you know why,cus i can handle more than a barmaids apron of ale and i'm not a cunt

It is horrible hearing of people's days being ruined this way. It is a real problem with all seater stadiums and in particular the way the Wembley tickets were allocated. I was sat near a lot of children, but I kept forgetting and using industrial language. This is why terracing was so great, you could just wander off from trouble if you wanted to, but also people could go completely out of control if they wanted to.

We had a similar experience in Block 502. All fine until the MC goal, at which point a couple of pissed up hard lads decided to head along the row in front of us towards the Citeh fans. Not sure what they were planning to do, but they could barely walk (reminded me of the alien from Men in Black, unfocused stare, incomprehensible gargling noises etc.).
When the second bloke followed the first, another pissed up genius shoved him, so that he fell into the people two rows away from them.
The stewards did nothing about it, though clearly a lot of people were upset. My wife actually persuaded another bloke heading along our row towards the Citeh fans to turn back, his comment being "Shame, you're stopping me having some fun".
Massively proud of Stoke yesterday. I thought JSU put it best when he said that "our players who had given us so much this season simply had nothing left to give". Just a shame there were some wankers in the crowd who'd gone for different reasons than to support their club - or rather that their expression of that support is reflected in almost total inebriation or being "up for it" as you say sslazio90.
I'm so glad I didn't try and take my Dad. He, and the women and small children sat in and around Block 502 (as everywhere else in the ground) would not have coped so well if a 15 stone hard lad had been thrown on him from two rows above. I don't see why anyone should tolerate this, no excuses.

Thanks for the moral support guys ( mostly!)...it means a lot. Not after banning anyone but just wanted to make folk aware how easy it is to wreck someone's day, never mind cause them serious injury. All 3 of us are feeling a bit battered and bruised today with soreness and pain but I doubt any of it is too serious....BUT it could have ended very differently. I had waited 40 years for yesterday having seen us lose twice to the Gunners in 71 and 72 but tbh the disappointment of losing was nowt compared to sharing the stadium with the idiots behind us. I am very proud of being a Stokie, having supported 'em for over 50 years but I aint too thrilled to be associated with drunken morons. And, by the way, Stafford- Stokie, I am not against a drink or two except when it impacts badly on others!

The irony is, we'd still hear stories like this even if we won.

Sounds like more examples of why this country is in the state it's in......doesn't seem to matter how you behave and what impact you have on others....someone will always make excuses for you.

It just seems that everyone is moaning about some pretty trivial stuff on here today. (not you).
