Being fair - Colchester will only have given permission if they get paid a cut of the takings and Sky will have to be paid as well. Then there is the cost of equipment hire etc. I doubt if Stoke's profit will be more than a fiver a head and they'll have to pay staff costs out of that.

Forskin you never cease to amaze me, you really are a rimmer. I thought but its only me,poor thick me,that what a nice present to the Season Ticket Holders to have free entry. We silently never mind the Bogg Off Offers,or kids for a quid or tenner a match do we.

To right Moorlander. King of the Rimmers I am!
I can't think of ANY reason why season ticket holders should get in free. I pay for my season ticket because I like the (early bird) price and I get to sit in the same seat each match. Once I have done that I have no problems with offers to other supporters to try to boost the crowds. I know there will be offers when I buy my ticket so why should I worry when the offers come to pass?
Obviously you feel differently - take your problems up with the club not with me.

don't know how much this game is costing with the big screen but the Newcastle game cost £4000 , you have to buy the satellite time and it is per minute plus a cut to the other team.

Pretty sure tickets for Layer Road itself haven't actually sold out.
My sister managed to get one yesterday from the ticket office.
I'd imagine Stoke won't tell anyone such news until they've covered themselves with ticket sales for the screen though...

A small price to pay if it's the match that sees us reach the promised land at last

Indeed, there were all these worries about getting tickets for Colchester (I queued at 7.30 on the Monday morning!) and they still haven't sold out!!!! OK, here is my scenario for the game: WBA draw with Wolves & Norwich (they don't play on the Saturday we play Colchester) Bristol City lose to Stoke & Sheff Utd Hull draw with Barnsley & Crystal Palace, & lost to Sheff Utd Watford draw with Palace and beat Scunthorpe Stoke beat Bristol City & Colchester This would leave the table looking like this at 5.00 on 26 April Stoke 78 WBA 73 (with a game in hand) Watford 73 Hull 71 Bristol C 71 This would mean one hell of a party at Layer Road and at the Brit- as well as the beauty of a match against Leicester playing to win the title

Knolwes go put a £1 on them results happening at the bookies see what price you get. love it to be that simple. Saturday is simply massive. We need 20 k plus there. If Coventry can pull in 20 k and assuming Bristol bring same as we took cov 3k then anything under 20 will be simply not good enough.

Just wondered as we wanted to sit with some other friends.

Batman- Barnsley v Hull draw Wolves v WBA draw Norwich v WBA draw Sheff Utd v Hull home win Watford v Palace draw Stoke v Bristol City home win = 563/1 A cheeky quid on that won't do any harm!! (I can't bet any further than the weekend's matches)
