JUST like we would do if one of their players had broken one of our players legs.
This is still no excuse to say anything about Ramsey.

Like when Delap got his leg broken and no one batted an eyelash about who had done it? Or Ben Marshall getting his done in by a reckless challenge the other week?

Exactly, any one would think this was the first ever broken leg in football. There weren't this uproar when Delap broke his leg, Durahm never brings that up.

It's sensationalised bullshit. You only have to look at the way Holden reacted the other week to see what Ramsey should have done.

I think Wes Brown snapped him but Holden diffused the situation by accepting his apologies and said it was an accident and one of those of things. Compare that to the way Ramsey reacted to Ryan's apologies and how this has been escalated since.

I love how Ryan is the dirtiest player on earth after such an obvious no-fault accident, and yet this video inspires comments such as "who wouldn't have done that honestly?" and "stupid goal keeper went down too easy tbh"
Says all you need to know about them really. My biggest concern is that they're big enough cunts to try and nobble Shawcross for the final.

a quite remarkable WE ARE STOKE accompanied by yet another invisible forecfield stopping indignant Cockernee types getting to Ryan.
Their faux-anger and pretend-hardness is quite funny in a way.

If someone ended Delap's season then we'd be calling whoever did it a wanker etc. I'm getting tired of all this "Dont let Arsenal be nasty to our Ryan" horseshit. Hes a grown man, if he cant take it then he shouldnt be anywhere near the pitch today. Christ this topic is really starting to piss me off. What was more worrying is that at West Ham away Shawcross nearly did it all again on Scott Parker. Arsenal fans will give Shawcross abuse, and rightly so. We will give Wenger abuse and rightly so. Both sets of fans need to deal with it.

No he didn't, you've been listening to the Arsenal fans too much. That tackle was fuck all and Parker got straight back up instead of making a meal of it like all Arsenal players would have.

Lets be fair, the injury old Rory suffered was nothing compared to Ramsey. Dont get me wrong I think Ramsey and Arsenal are a bunch of whining girls, but that does not mean we wouldnt be fuming if the same happened to one of our players. The same did not happen to Rory, his ankle was not hanging by a thread

Also I dont mean this disrespectfully to Shawcross, but I imagine as a neutral, he is quite a dislikable player. Probably comes across as a very dirty player. In fact i've not met anyone who likes Shawcross as a player ;D

The same did not happen to Rory, his ankle was not hanging by a thread I can't remember the full extent of it, but I seem to remember thinking last year that Ramsey's injury was about as bad as Delap's. I can't remember at all, though. Delap was injured by a very poor tackle from one of his supposed team-mates. Ramsey was injured in a 50-50 ball. If anybody had a right to be angry, it was Stoke, but we acted with dignity and class. In fact, this is all that TP had to say about it: “The performance was smashing and some great things happened out there, but my thoughts and those of the team are with Rory.
“Two people have just gone in for a challenge. Elliott is a seasoned pro and would know Rory, so I’m sure the last thing he would want to do is break his leg.”He went no further than that. Arsenal could learn an awful lot from him.

The fact about the ongoing venom and hatred of the Arsenal fans is that it is fuelled by their club and by the media who adore the 'big 4' (pains me to type that as I hate the phrase). If Wenger and Ramsey would have acknowledged that it was an accident (ok this may have been difficult at the time, but with hindsight etc....) then yes, they may still boo him, but we probably wouldn't get this ongoing campaign of hate. They hang on every word of their manager and players and so if Arsene says Ryan is a very nasty man, then so the fans will follow. Shit media articles written by Arsenal bias journalists, and crap written by the likes of Alan Davies and Piers Morgan don't help either. Sadly the majority of their 'fans' can't make their own minds up, even when they have seen the challenge countless times from 10 different angles.
