Good read. All credit to Whelan. Hold your heads in shame Campbell and the rest of the shit houses who were more concerned in getting Ryan sent off

I would not usually make homophobic remarks, but the way Campbell and Fabregas jumped around after the tackle was the gayest thing I have EVER seen at a football match.

I'm not someone who gets into a paranoid tizz about how Stoke are represented in the media- there are more important things in life, and a lot of the hysterical wailing on here when Gary Lineker says something innocuous on MOTD is, well, frankly cringeworthy.
However, the way that some sections of the media handled the Shawcross/Ramsey incident really was disgusting. Anyone who has played the game at any level, would have known on their first viewing of the replay that it was the kind of accident that can happen anywhere from Wembley to Wolstanton Marsh. It was obvious from Ryan's reaction that he hadn't intended it, and 99% of the injury was down to the unfortunate angle that Ramsey's leg was positioned in when contact was made.
However, following the incident a lot of media wankers were exposed as writing from a position of complete ignorance, either proving that they had a) never kicked a ball in anger in their lives (Hello Alan Davies you poodle haired psuedo-fan cunt), or in the case of a handful of the more informed pundits, they actually do hate us (hello Mick dennis you spiteful little fucktard).
Of course Wenger didn't help either, but that's about what you'd expect from a bitter, creepy, slimeball who would rather blame everyone else for his teams failings, rather than admit that their shortcomings are attributable to him signing shit keepers and toss centre backs.
