would you agree that the standard in the championship this season has been poor, and next season will be a higher standard, and alot tougher league too get out of?
In my opinion yes, so i really hope we can finish off the job this season, which i'm confident we will.

i dont think its any harder or easier than last year, there is more money in the league this year than last year but the quality hasnt been any different. As for next year i just think there will be more teams who have money to spend but whether or not they can improve the standard is a question only time will tell. Well thats my opinion anyway. simonworthy

It will be of an even poorer standard, with Stoke leaving it. And Derby coming back.

Or maybe "competitive"

i think unpredictable and competitive are also fair ways to describe the league this season, but when you look at the amount of points the top sides are on in the league thus far, compared to previous seasons, it speaks volumes.

i just think that the gap in wealth and therefore quality between the top 8 prem or so and everyone else has jumped up a level. with teams like chelsea and manure buying everyone and anyone who may one day be quality, the rest of the prem teams have had a smaller(and therefore shitter) pool to choose from, so the championships pool of players has got shitter as a result.
i think this is one of the reasons we've done so well this year. the teams that rely on quality in every position(brazil) have been inconsistent due to weak links, whereas a team like stoke, which lacks quality on the ball at times but has a decent work ethic and plenty of heart can be top of the league. but at the same time, this doesn't mean we'll necessarily do a derby, because the quality of the bottom half of the prem has dropped as well and i think they'll struggle against us in the same way west brazil do.(hehe)
