Top player. Is it the same player that loads on here were moaning at, at the start of the season for not being able to beat his man and has no pace. Just another thought on giving players stick. Thank god it was Dicko and not Griff that gave away the penalty that could have cost us. Funny how it is very quiet about the penalty given away on here!

To attach any blame whatsoever for the Coventry goal on Dicko is pettiness of the highest order.
We couldn't collectively deal with a corner and their player had a simple tap in. Dicko's tackle was a desperate last attempt to stop the goal, nothing more.

and nobody has mentioned what line in Delilah could get Liam going!! I'm far too much of a lady to do that! ;D Well done Liam for yesterday...and there should be no blame attached to Dicko at all for the penalty. Now we've just got to hope that TP keeps a winning defence

Dave. Who said anything about blaming Dicko. I was pointing out, thank fuck it wasn't Griff that conceded the penalty or it wouldn't have been a desperate last attempt. It would have been a late attempt from a deperate player. Like i said, the penalty wouldn't have been so quiet on here had it been made by Griffin. Even you can see that!

Sportsman you are correct imo about Griff - Dicko. But the reason peoples patience is thinner with Griff than Dicko is that Griff has been found wanting on several occasions in recent weeks where as Dicko hasn't (and hes much less experienced, so we have to give him more leeway)
Griff is a great left back but a poor right back imo I would therefore blame tp as much as Griff for his less than impressive recent form.

sportsman50 correct liam was slated by many NO PACE CANT PASS CANT SHOOT CANT CROSS send him back we have been robbed, just shows what a bunch of wankers we have supporrting the club, on ameobi's back already, and pearsons. Now he his one of the best in the league Lawrence was all of them last season. It just shows that You have to give a player more time to settle. This is one lesson I've learnt and now I don't judge as quick as used to. Mainly because of Lawrence and Delap.

The problem with Delap was that 90% of his game is his mobility, stamina and tracking back. After a broken leg and long term lay off, all of those are going to suffer.
As for Lawrence, he's been an absolute revelation this year. Player of the season?

I'll stick by my word in saying that Lawrence was very poor at the beginning of the season, but like Delap they have found form and have became quality players for us.

So are people going to give Ameobi, Pearson, Griffin, Cort and whoever else goes through a spell of a loss of form a bit of space and get off their blody backs!

Come on sportsman, you were never off Hoefkens' back last season.
What are the rules here, fans can only criticise players YOU don't like or rate?

When Hoefkens was here when was i critical? When he left i said he could be easily replaced. Again he was shite for WBA yesterday, hence my point he is easily replaced. When he was on the pitch i backed him the same as i back every player, do you? Are you one of the 'fans' that back Griff, Ameobi,Pearson, and Lawrence when they are off form? I do, and that is my point.
Answer the question Dave. Would Griff have been slated on here and on the radio had it have been he who gave away the penalty? I'm not having a go at Dicko, although i did get slated the other week for saying Pulis prefers experience over youth at this stage after Dicko nearly got sent off at Sheffield and has a tendency for diving in. I like Dicko and Wilko, and think both will be good players. All i was asking lately is that fans show the same backing to 'all' players when on the pitch.

People normaly do Dave when they know they are wrong. I always back every player on the pitch, even when Hoefkens was here. When they have left i will give my opinion on them, when they are here and playing in the side i back them. There are only two players that i have been critical of for different reasons. Hoefkens, we know of. The other being Simmo, but only for not commanding his area, not for his shot stopping. I've been proved right on both players. Hoefkens has done nowt at WBA, and i had a bet at the beginning of the season, about three games in, with Smudge, that Simmo will be replaced by christmas. I was laughed off on here by Smudge and others. Then what do you know, he's replaced and everyone was critical of him at the time. I've said before, listen to the Sportsman. You might not like everything i say, but i'm always proved right!

I've been proved right on both players. If you believe you've received "proof" of your correctness regarding Hoefkens and Simmo, I think you need to take some kind of basic skills course.
