Just a brief visit, you will understand my dissappointment. Dont know whats happened to us the last 4 games, but tell you waht you are developing a ruthless edge that marks a good team.
Hard to gauge how shite we were tonight, but really you could have won 6-0. That's the level of superiority. Very comfortable and we were very wanky indeed tonight.
I hate it more when we play well but get nothing, tonight was just sad cos the players and the fans seem to have lost faith in the manager.
Looking doomed for us - at least RAF, Stafford-stokie, Chinese Dave & others will be wanking in their cornflakes!
Still wish you good luck in the Cup Final, keep level headed & you can turn Citeh over.

Wolves are only ONE point from safety and can easily stay up.
They just lost a tough away game, we've done that countless times, it doesn't mean it's the end for them yet, plenty of games left.

I was surprised at how little fight Wolves put up (that's not taking anything away from our performance). I'd much rather Wolves stay up than Blackburn or West Ham. I like mad Mick - so all the best for the rest of the season.

Wolves haven't been 'bad' for most of the season. 33 points by this stage in a normal season would be an OK return.
If they can pick themselves up they have 4 games where they can expect to compete for points. Another 5 points and I'd expect them to squeak over the line.

I'm not sure Wolves fans should be that disheartened.
Fair enough they were thoroughly beaten but we've making sides far better than Wolves look like relegation fodder for some time at the Brit now.
I personally don't have a fucking clue who will go down.

it's too close to call at the moment and all have a chance as they have games with the teams around them - Wolves have a better run in than most - so if they go down, well they deserve it

West Ham going down would be great. Then, I don't really mind. Probably prefer Blackburn. Don't mind who else!

Have to say Mad Mick is the sole reason I actually would like them to stay up - a good honest manager who doesn't whinge and moan about things or babble incoherent bollocks ala Holloway.

As a Stafford based stokie, there's a lot of banter with wolves, and its only been since the prem, that we can compete with their abuse so part of me wants them to go down. But as others have said, I like Mick and would miss the derbies, so I may want them to survive. I never thought I'd day that!

Still, they're taking it well... www.molineuxmix.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=59552&page=2What makes it incredibly hard to swallow is it's Stoke City, lowly Stoke City, that joke club the other side of Stafford who's ground we used to fill for them in the Championship and would beat on regular occasions. They were the ones rubbing it in tonight the other side of the netting.
We have taken well over 2,500 up there tonight and do not deserve it. They have left us way way behind now. Pulls has invested in proven quality.
It's was Championship vs Premiership tonight and we were torn apart. We have been sub standard for a majority of these types of games this season and with Blues and Albion coming up we are nailed down.
The managerial change should have happened after either Blackpool or Wigan. There is unfortunately little hope of a new guy coming in and saving us now.
No way should he stay in his job stay up or go down. This season is turning out to be an epic failure!

I'm in the 'like mick' camp too. Before the game I would have been happy for wolves to stay up. The berating of etherington pissed me off though and they can go down now for all I care. Donate 3 pts to Blackpool scrub that - can't not try to win no matter how much they pissed me off

There are 65 posts on that thread, and this is one of them. There is not a single other post deriding Stoke. So that poster is very bitter and deluded, infact I believe he is from Stafford so no surprise there! Can't defend those cheering Etherington's injury, but i will say some Stoke fans more than any others I know, give it out big time, happy to offend with songs, and cause trouble. I spose those idiots last night see it as justified in their strange lickle minds. I really hope the injury is not too bad.

Sorry, but I want Wolves to go down! Why are you aplogising for saying that by preceeding it with "sorry"? I want Wolves to go down, i cannot stand the club, the place or the majority of their "fans" To add more fuel to the fire that their fans have started over the last, well, forever. Last nights disgraceful display from them when a professional player was being stretchered off was fucking scum, as are they. I won't apologise for saying that, never in a million years.

Rigsby,
We should try Huth in goals, he should be decent, what with his extra hand.
After the shit the gave to Matty last night they can rot in the Championship for me. A plus point for them is that they already have a Championship team so that'll same them a bit of chopping and changing.
As I said to my Wolves mate last night, at least the extra games will bring the average cost of his season ticket per game down.
And another thing, I get the train back from Brum to Stoke in the week and the seats are consistantly taken up by Dingles. Despite them only going one stop they always pile on and always on my train, i would'nt mind but there are loads of other trains for them. Payback time hopefully...
I do like Mad Mick McCarthy though.

Shotbybothsides- has always been a good poster on here over the years- he used to post as ReansWolf and he knows as much as its possible to know about the rivalry between the two clubs over the last four decades and I always read his posts.... but for me though the Wolves fans hit the gutter last night and I am a bit shocked by it.....I know we have some right nobs, but when Ramsey Broke his leg for most Stokies the game was over, and the reason we became so angry about it after was down to the disgraceful conduct of Wenger and his players in the aftermath...I fully expect some bitter chants when Arsenal return- but this is 18 months on and the player has made a recovery.

It's very unfair to think the actions of a few idiots are representative. Every team has got its scummy element who bring shame on the rest, Stoke as much as anyone. The silent majority of every fanbase is decent and genuine. Got to be honest, there are teams I'd rather go down than Wolves as I think McCarthy is more likeable than 99% of managers - but I appreciate for anyone south of Stone, this is a rivalry that dwarfs Vale. www.molineuxmix.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=59580
