Oh great most weather reports say rain at some point in the morning!!! that's much better than hot sunshine Yeah, i've done it twice in 2008 & 2009 and both times it was baking hot. I'm hoping for a nice cool day and a cold rain shower just as I get to the bottom of Milton Road. Good luck everyone.

Last year the mile markers were positioned quite high up on lamp posts etc, lots of people missed them, I probably only saw them because I was determined to have my head held high no matter how badly I was doing! :-)

Good luck to everyone doing the Potters Arf tomorrow. This time next week we will just hopefully be starting to climb Scafell pike after successfully negotiating Ben Nevis.

Good luck to everyone doing the Potters Arf tomorrow. This time next week we will just hopefully be starting to climb Scafell pike after successfully negotiating Ben Nevis. good luck, I did it 5 years ago, the day after Northwich Rugby captain died on the Nevis ascent. It was snowing on top of Snowdon yesterday, my mate was on top of Nevis last weekend, still 6 inches of snow I never saw anything from any peak, bad weather on Nevis and Snowdon and scafell the night climb

yes you missed us roger quality times guys, I did it in 1hr 47min which I'm well pleased with, 5 minutes taken off my PB, but it's only my 2nd half M50 age group for next years for me Saw Fiona (FCstoke) come in at 2hr 15mins, which I think she'll be happy with, as I was eating a whopper (didn't know they did whoppers) bacon and cheese oatcake outside Boots. Was my mate Matt's intro to Oatcakes, he did enjoy it, but kept referring to 'pancakes' on the way home.

Am very happy with that Northy, I started quite near the back so hoping that the chip time will be just a bit less than 2.15 but can't grumble with a PB (was 2.16) and a lot quicker than last year!
Well done everyone!
I am already wondering if I can get closer to the 2 hours next time!

This always makes me think, they can't do much work if they can run there and back every day ;D it's only 10k each way, and he works in a packing factory in Winsford doing manual work on shift, very fit. He ran 14 miles along maul famue ridge with me one day and then did the 2 piers half up your way the next morning in 1.45 Forgot the tongue smiley A brickies labourer i knew used to run every morning and night and he worked really hard and no racist implications at all ;D

What shall I do with the photos from this morning? Post on here or email, message me if you want it by email.
