Got my number 1527. What about meeting by the Metro ( what used to be the French Horn) for the photo about half an hour or so before. Did the Market Drayton 10k this morning before the match and took 3 minutes off my pb!

That sounds like a plan, looking forward to it now (apart from Milton Road), had a good 12 mile training run yesterday, and not feeling too bad this morning either...

Had physio at the hospital on Thursday and she had me bending like I was 20 years old got to go agaon on friday with gym gear on Milton hill I used to live off it in Mornington Road 20 years ago, it's giving me the shivers

He ran 14 miles along maul famue ridge with me one day and then did the 2 piers half up your way the next morning in 1.45

My marathon days are over im afraid, its a snickers or nothing nowadays... No seriously though, its hard work doing the `arf. Trying to get enough fluids in, coping with the heat, pacing yourself for the best part of two hours. I sometimes wonder if its worth standing there and watching all those idiots running past... ;D

We are running to raise money for a specialist bed for a young girl who sadly contracted meningitis and went into a coma. She thankfully pulled through but has been left with severe cerebral palsy, is completely blind and confined to a wheelchair. Although times are hard we hope people will be able to find a little something to help us achieve this goal. Please donate at the following link www.justgiving.com/evasappeal

I'm also running it. A bit scared now as i've not trained half as much as i wanted to. I ran 8 miles yesterday and finished the run off with ash bank and didn't feel too bad, so fingers crossed!!!!

I'm feeling pretty good, I think I probably should've trained a bit harder, but should beat last years time.
And I am also very happy with the current weather forecast!!!

Anyone know if there will be mile markers this year?
|
|
|
Post by roger1972 on Jun 9, 2011 19:12:22 GMT
Top of vicky rd is 3.5, and Milton as you turn left back to Hanley is roughly 10, Milton bank is 11.5 to 12 if that's any help
