hes great in possession and has a real eye for a goal. Plus he seems to have got fitter since coming to Stoke and has a bit more pace about him which makes him 10 times the player he was when he first arrived

Was £3m too much - as many said?
I think not for his contribution this season.

He's kept John Carew out of the team.
At the moment, THAT'S how good he is. Hope he keeps this form up.

With a 2.75 - 3 million fee he has already paid it back and then some!
Real down to earth guy and obviously has worked very hard to get where he is. A real example of how a footballer should behave and thankful for the career and rewards that come with it.

He's obviously no Tuncay but he's pretty fucking good ;D I know you're a Tuncay fan and aren't we all but I disagree a little... Walters has done more this season for Stoke than Tuncay did ( not that tuncay was given a great chance). He hasn't got the same slick tricks and flicks but he's now showing great pace, commitment, effort, guile, defending, shooting powress. Man I can't praise him high enough. That goal where he ran from past the half way line.... wow

Me mate is a massive Ipswich fan and was gutted when he left the tractor boys. He said if he signs for you he will score goals and be magical. Jon Boy Walters take a bow.

He really has improved a lot this season. He started a bit slow and I was afraid that we had got ourself a donkey. He has improved in every game and has scored some incredible goals this season. Well done!!!

I always thought Jon would be an excellent squad player for us and thought he was a great signing by TP as a squad player BUT FUCKING HELL has he proved even me wrong. He's been exceptional and deserves every ounce of praise and credit that he gets.

He's very good. Plenty of heart, good skill, runs for the full game, and most importantly, he plays with a smile on his face. Loads of effort!!

TP seems to get the best out of players that other clubs don't want. Matty, Jermaine and Super John but wasn't that Waddo used to to.

He was fantastic today, and my man of the match, that run he made from the half way line for his goal was amazing. It was like something Ric would come out with

Started off as a low level hate figure because the manager picked him over Fuller and now he surely has to be first choice striker?
The reason for the upturn? Hard work.

Best finisher we've got. Skill, but with the work ethic TP loves.
Well played Super Jon.

I always thought he was a decent signing but never thought he was a striker, more a utility winger, he's proved me wrong these past few weeks.
And crikey what a set of lungs that boy has, just watching the highlights to notice different things, and right at the end of the game he's still running (not the late in the game ambly jog, full out sprinting) round when the only other players in Boltons half are fuller pugh and whitehead (the subs), I think maybe he's had a transplant for the lungs of a dolphin or a whale or something, I bet he could spend an hour underwater and not need to come up for air.
Fantastic player, wouldn't surprise me if we recieved some offers in the summer.
