TJ used to start us off singing Delilah.........
I remember the cries of 'TJ,TJ,TJ' going up in years gone by before every massive Delilah. It would be amazing if we could do that again at Wembley on Sunday.
Are you out there TJ?

Thinks it's Benno who starts in nowadays in Block 22! I sit in Block 22 Row 32, and he's about 6 or 8 rows in front of me.

The problem is loads of people will be pissed up and trying to start a Delilah. We don't need too many

We don't need too many!... Let's hope we have enough; and most importantly, we get through to the final. I will only sing Delilah if it is at the right time. For me, that is generally only...1) the biggie at the start of a game; 2) when the match is close and we are gathering momentum; 3) after we have scored. If it is preceded by a hushing - to complete silence, this hopefully will be when TJ (i.e. Anton Booth) takes his cue to get it started. Anyone without the 'proper authority' trying to get it started should be dutifully ignored.

Many of you will remember our promotion as champions from Div 1 when we lost the last (ish) game at Bolton 1-0 and TJ went 10 foot up the pylon at Burnden Park to start a Delilah.
Have we got the same character today?????

Joking, why would i be joking fella, some of these posts on here make me wonder if tj can walk on water. Every stoke fan that sings their heart out deserves praise, grown adults kissing ass like this makes me laugh, ( i sit closer to him than you, yardee yardee )

At the same time i recognise the part this bloke played in our history. Just remember mate when there were 200 Stokies down at Dean Court watching us lose TJ was there and he'll be there amongst 34000 this weekend.

I'm simply pointing out bum lickers on this thread pal, if you feel the need to explain yourself thats fine... Every single stoke voice at the match can be proud, because when we stoke fans bond into one voice we destroy all other supporters and lift the team. 12th man, all of us

It doesn't appear to be bum licking to me, just an appreciation of a time gone by, and memories of the original TJ.
Ipswich away late eighties, notts county on the train early ninetees spring to mind. TJ took over the announing on the train and led allouete, "paki shop" and deliah.
