Hmm. Only the Daily Hate Mail but still, worrying to see that he actually touched one of their fans...
Don't think there's any footage of it though is there? If there isn't he should be alright. And in the unlikely event that he did get a ban, it wouldn't come into effect for this weekend would it?

And in the unlikely event that he did get a ban, it wouldn't come into effect for this weekend would it? There might not be close-up footage but it was definitely caught by the main match camera. All I saw was Fuller's momentum take him off the pitch and then a little pocket of Spurs fans went a bit mad in the corner of the screen a few seconds later. I was following the ball so not sure how clear the camera picked up the "confrontation". I love Fuller but he's a complete idiot isn't he? No wonder Pulis wants to get rid.

I've only seen it on TV once but it appeared to me that the Spurs fan thought he was trying to be big and clever by grabbing hold of Ric as the Jamaican's momentum took him towards the crowd.
Fuller then appeared to give the bloke a "hand off" and a few choice words.
My feelings are the Spurs fan possibly got what was coming but will no doubt make a huge song and dance about it like the legions of fans who can dish it but can't take a bit back.
Ric was daft for getting involved but I don't think it's that bad and if we don't hear something today I don't think we'll hear anything.

Did anything ever happen with Fuller's 'fracas' with a supporter at Wrexham in Pre-Season just after he was sent off?
I hope not because twice in under 12 months is ripe for a ban and quite frankly, deserving of one.

Stupidity on Ric's behalf even if he was provoked. Let's hope he get's lucky and avoids a ban.

Imagine if we did recall Eidur back.
65minutes gone and Super Jonny Walters gets injured.
1-0 down and getting battered.
TP has a look over to the bench, and with no Ric, the only attacking options are Eidur, or Carew.
Eidur walks over to Pulis and says, "This is my time, I am a Potter."
Eidur bags two goals to put us in the lead, and then blocks a shot off the line in the 90th minute, which would of been their equaliser.
Eidur then reveals a undershirt that says "LOVE STOKE, HATE GLORYHUNTERS" By StokeTShirts.co.uk and starts singing Delilah infront of the East Stand.

I love Ric to bits but he's a flippin' idiot sometimes. I didn't see the incident and the photo doesn't really show much. Let's hope it's just a storm in a teacup. We'll need to be at full strength on Sunday (especially if it goes to extra time - eeek).

Just how long is that Spuds fans' neck?! What a load of old bollocks. If that's the only piece of proof about he'll be fine. Stupidity to get involved, but that photo shows nothing more than Ric with his hand on some fat pricks' chest! A "We'll be dealing with this in-house" from Pulis should be suffice...

I thought at the time it was prize winning stupidity from Ric and fully expected TP to be asked about it and MOTD to feature it but in practice MOTD could barely bring themselves to show our 2 wonder goals so I think we got off lightly.

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footbal....n.html?ITO=1490Could this see Ric out for the rest of the season? You cant grab fans even if the abuse is bad and i can see him being made an example of. The Ref has apparentley included it in his report so it could be we lose Ric for the last 7 games.

He won't get banned for 7 games - what a ridiculous suggestion 3. Did it need another thread. ???

I've got sympathy with players in that situation, where they're expected to ignore the abuse of every foul-mouthed tough guy numbskull in the crowd. And even though I've got respect for anyone who confronts the muppet in question, in this era, you do run the risk of getting a 'making-an-example-of-you' punishment even for something very innocuous.
And Fuller is never one to show self control or be bound by expected norms.
That said, this looks very storm-in-a-teacuppy.
The confrontation looked about as violent as an argument between Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
Even in full-on Respect mode, I'd be surprised if the authorities dished out any bans for that.

If Rooney is allowed to deliberately smash an opposition player with a forearm/elbow, I think we’ll be ok with this one.

I think the reactions of the other people in the crowd say all that needs to be said ... and that's that actually, there's nothing to see here.
