Who in the right mind wouldnt go wembley to watch stoke? Whether it Was fa trophy or johnstones paint trophy id still go, never mind in the semi final of the best domestic cup competition in the world! Just to see stoke play at wembley, it could only happen once in your lifetime so make the most of it i say.

I have just renewed my season ticket - not going to wembley for a mere semi final though
would've gone if it was just about anywhere else though
on principle I do not subscribe to the Fa's 'lets rip off the punters whilst paying for the stadium' antics -

.. so they can go to the final? Why do you chat so much shit ? If you don't go the Semi you've got near on no chance of going the final with only a 25,000 allocation.

I highly doubt anyone not going to the semi would stand a chance of getting a ticket for the final anyway ;D

Who gives a shit where the money is going to. Supporting your team should be the first and most important thing.

The fact that thousands of people who want to go wont be able go due to only been given about 25k!!
People if you want to see stoke city at wembley, i suggest you get tickets or you might not ever get the chance.
Basically if your not going as we might get to the final then you really are dreaming (unless a ST holder then you will prob get first dibs anyway)

my opinion - Im sticking to it
like I stuck to it at Luton - at Tranmere - at Cambridge - at bury - at stockport - at carlisle
at Stoke v Qpr but 3, 1/4 years ago when, only 11,409 turned up - I was there
so DONT even attempt to question whether I'm a true fan or not

You're potentially going to miss Stoke City winning their first ever FA Cup

I'm having to take the risk, I had a holiday booked long before this looked even possible and having only just got back I won't have enough disposable money to do it with. I could go and hope that it worked out fine, but considering there is other things which have to be paid they have to take preference.

.. so they can go to the final? I have heard to guarantee a final ticket (if we were to get there) that you require a season ticket + a semi-final stub.... can't risk missing the semi-finals as there will only just be enuff for season ticket holders!!

.. so they can go to the final? I'm doing the opposite. I'm going to the semi knowing I won't be at the final* should we get there. No way I can justify the cost of coming back twice, but we might not get to the final (and I probably wouldn't get a ticket) and I wasn't prepared to miss Stoke at the new Wembo! *If, by some miracle, somebody managed to get hold of a ticket for me, I'd have to consider my options...

I reckon if we get to the final then Season Ticket holders will get tickets and then they'll have some sort of a ballot of non ST holders who went to the semi final. That seems to be the simplest way of doing it. Whichever way they do it there will be some who are disappointed. It would be interesting to see how many tickets were snapped up for the semi final at each level of priority.

You're potentially going to miss Stoke City winning their first ever FA Cup All because you have a silly ranting every season and don't want to be seen as a hypocrite. It beggars the question, why support a football team if you turn down the opportunity to see them potentially win the biggest thing they ever will in their history? Why spend years and money watching all the shit we've had to put up with, then get to a cup semi final then possibly a final and not go?

I'm going to the final and not the semi final. Now, if in the tradition that existed before the contracts were blown out of the water for rebuilding Wembley was continued, I'd be going to a suitable neutral ground for the semi-final. It's a bit like having a team finish 4th in the league being given a place in a competition with 'Champion' in it's title. I firmly believe that the prize for getting to the final should be the day out at the national stadium. The world's gone mad, and principles are fine if you can afford them. In this instance, I can.

with an expected allocation of 25000 for the final under current rules platinum gold etc and season ticket holders are guaranteed one, next are silver members without season tickets who pay a 15 quid premium for a guarantee of early purchase of any remaining allocation after season tickets-so semi tickets general sale etc will not come into it....

Why won't they? ST holders and Silver Bells wouldn't sell out 25k, I doubt there's even that many. And of course not everybody would buy a ticket. Probably not that many, but there would be some left over.

Just renewed my season ticket with the last of my savings after being made redundant. Currently unemployed and doing an unfunded learndirect course.
Would be bit of an impossibilty finance wise for me to contemplate affording going to Wembley i'm afraid.
That's probably not a good enough reason for some of the idiots on here though, shame, i'll have to accept i must be an awful Stoke City supporter and don't deserve to even watch them.
