Thanks Sally for starting and pinning this. Both really good charities to run for and raising loads of money will make the aching legs worthwhile.
The helpforheroes link needs attention I think.

Is TP doing it this year? erm doubt it, as someone who did the marathon [1990] i urge you all to just relax and enjoy the occaision. the sence of elation after you cross the line will last you a lifetime, then you can get to wembley and watch the potters romp home ;D

I'll be watching at 13 mile (and 22 mile if you are very quick!) before heading off to Wembley. Having done it 4 years ago, respect to anyone who is running and then going straight to the game!

Bit late on this post! I'll have a big Stoke flag up on 13 mile mark, just after tower bridge! Good luck!

I will look out for you and the flag if you're still there! I will be wearing my Stoke baseball cap with large crest on the front, I would love a wave and cheer from any Stokies on route, and perhaps a 'get your ass moving to Wembley!' ;D I honestly don't know whether I will get to Wembley after the marathon, but I have to give it all I've got, hopefully I will be there before half time. I have planned the route from the finish and going down on Thursday to check it out. Will be gutted if it doesn't work out.

Will be in woolwich where routes merge. Look out for Stoke flags as kid brother is running. Lots of money going on a stokie beating the kenyans ! I ran it in 2007 and had a great day but wembley must be a pretty powerful motivator.good luck
