Anyone know? Thanks to the Semi-final being on a Sunday, I'll be on a campsite in the Loire instead of Wembley . I'm taking the laptop, hoping I can stream the game, but if it is on France Channel 4, I might be able to tune in the portable TV. Or can I?

Don't have a clue, however on a more important issue. Is it ok to make some toast out of frozen bread?

If you take your tv, unplug it first or get a long extension cable. You may also find that in France, it smells funny and the people are rude. The women may have nice arses though. I think that covers everything. oh, and if you see a "bilbiotheque" dont expect any banging choons, its a library!!! Those crazy frogs!

Many thanks for the wide range of advice ranging from useful to shite . Looks like I have to check that my TV is SECAM-compatible, which most modern TVs are. If it ain't, then there's no point taking it. And Meggsy - of course you can put frozen bread in your toaster (but not French bread, 'cos them baguette thingies weren't designed for toasters and they make crap toast anyway) .
