think your talkin bit of crap You're very wrong. Every time we've played Chelsea he's been the weak link. He's probably just about good enough for the Premier League, but is completely out of depth at his present domestic and international level.

Terry was simply shocking today.
And Fat Frank wasn't much better.
No wonder England are crap with this pair ruling the roost in the national team.

new FA clause....... all national team captains must be protected with a 2 yard exclusion zone. Any player entering that zone or daring to tackle said player must be dealt with immediately and harshly!!!!
John Terry, like my arse.....go on Stoke!

I'm not sure I'd want Terry in our team, because based on what we see, he can be a disruptive influence
But on pure playing ability - Straight in

I think he's a lame excuse of a footballer & absolutely vile. Every time i see him play he's a cheating, moaning & cynical bastard. Cant wait to see the back of him, i never want to see him in a stoke shirt nor do i think he deserves that opportunity!

from an England point of view whilst I think its daft to say Terry isnt an excellent defender we just dont need him & all the crap that comes with him Cahill is better already & there is a good selection of acceptable other CB's (inc Ryan)

I agree that he was poor today, but wasn't helped by the truly shocking Luiz who looked so far out of his depth it was untrue, but to say Terry wouldn't get into our side is absolute nonsense. He would walk into our defence and any of our players become as good as Terry they will be the best player at the club by a distance.

Lamps had a few decent shotswhich bego had to parry.
Terry is a decent player, who is no where near as good as he was two years ago. He was world class.

I wouldn't have him over Ryan or Huth. There was only one England defender who dealt with his striker even decently today and he wasn't wearing blue.

He's over rated but he's better than what we've got. He always has been the weaker of the two centre halves at Chelsea, but remember, Huth couldn't hack it for them, and Terry obviously has, so I think that answers the question. He isn't World Class but he is better than what we have and anyone saying other wise obviously just hates him and have rose tinted specs on.

What qualities does Terry have that make him a better player than either of our first choice centre-halves? The man's a liability at the top level and for all his chest thumping is a big fairy.

Exactly, at the top level. He is expected to be in a defence that keeps clean sheets etc every week. He's not as good as people make out, and he's not top 4 quality, but I think he'd get in ahead of Shawcross.

Jones was a handful for him today, but Terry's a very clever defender in the way that Huth is "clever" i.e. obstructing strikers runs and knowing when to get away with shirt-tugging etc.
The bloke's a scumbag but he's still very good, and yes, I would have him in our team.

He's the sort of player that you'd want in your team. He is Chelsea's version of Huth, and most opposition teams don't like Huth either, seeing him as just a bully. But your defence needs that and there's a reason why Man Utd who have Vidic and Chelsea who have Terry, have had the most successful defences over the last few years. Arsenal don't have that and that's why they don't win owt.

He would walk into our defence and any of our players become as good as Terry they will be the best player at the club by a distance. Blimey Irish, I thought Luiz was their best today by a country gallop. But back to the subject; yes Terry was a moaning gobshite all afternoon. If he tugged his captain armband whilst gobbing off or waving the charade yellow card in from of Mr Walton any more this afternoon, there'd be no time for the football on MOTD tonight. His histrionics were laughable. What a wanker. What a complete twat. To think this cheat captains my country at my sport. It's no wonder I - and 1000's of other disillusioned footy fans - can't be arsed to watch England with this scummy lightweight wearing the armband. He can fuck off, and take his scag dealing dad and thief mum with him, the adultering thick cunt. I wouldn;t piss on him if he was fire. And I really hope he is on fire, right now. Preferably in car with Cole and Lampard.
