....i think i am the proudest i have ever been for OUR club STOKE CITY! Yes even more than reaching the semi final of FA Cup,today we stood tall and strong and each and everyone has earnt their wage packet today....at one point in 2nd half i was close to tears...yeah yeah i know i'm 38yrs old and should grow a pair !! ;D ;D But fuck it from back to front AWESOME, it just goes to show what we can do....yeah yeah chelski had us worried a few times(a 15-20 min period in 1st and a few fleeting glances in 2nd half) and thats the truth, 1st few mins in 2nd half and last few mins with a couple of flashes inbetween But Bego ..called upon when needed(not that much) could do nowt with goal great header from great player Defense awesome centre pair, full backs did their jobs,Danny struggled a little bit but pulled through with sheer determination ! Midfield AWESOME Broke up ,pissed off and just ruined an excellent chelski midfield Wing play was just sheer hard work and a few skills thrown in And now forwards..... i am not Kennys biggest fan this year, but only because i know he can do so much better, today stand up Kenny J what was he.....yep AWESOME ! Flicked on(vs england captain) Held up (vs england captain) ran, chased ,harrassed,strength...everything bar maybe a couple of final balls..but hey who cares AWESOME Finally...those who berated him, those who continue to slag off, those who say he's just a championship player ...step forward MY MoM SUPER JOHNNY WALTERS He ain't no Cresswell replacement,he is 50 times better and younger,he runs with the ball,he runs without the ball,he tackles,he passes,he wins headers,he reads the flick ons for 2nd ball and HE KNOW WHERE THE FOOKIN NET IS .......... SUPER JOHNNY WALTERS I LOVES YA IF YOU ARE NOT PROUD TODAY AS A STOKIE AND YOU ARE GOING TO WEMBLEY....THEN YOU ARE NOT A PROPER STOKIE BE LOYAL BE PROUD BE STOKE...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE

I didnt think we could play better than we di when we beat Liverpool, but today we did & Chelsea played miles better than Liverpool did that day.
Fantastic performance from Stoke
imho Ric on for JP should have happened 10 mins earlier, however dont think any negatives are appropiate today.Top marks Stoke

Agree entirely, I really hope we keep this up for the rest of the season rather than sitting back like we did a month ago. When we play like we did today I genuinely believe we can get something against any team in the league, regardless of their form. Well done lads, you were absolutely superb today!

Rob, it was mint-on-trent today youth. Not been recently, went today and loved every second. Even when they scored, it was a class goal and had been coming so wasn't too upset. How we responded was simply inspiring. Only downside is not winning, but still thoroughly happy.

I was going to post something similar but would struggle to put it better.
In summary the performance of certain individuals shut up a lot of the talk bollocks posters (wfw etc) and the team played football throughout and stayed with Chelsea for 96 mins and in the end looked the more likely.
How more proud of that can you be, I'm sure wfw would find something wrong though. Has he showed up yet tonight

Mint-on-Trent ha ha Tom, i was nearly there today, found out yesterday i was not working however not a ticket in site and £30 just for a fookin last minute coach. So 4 cans of Abbot Ale folowed by 4 cans of Tanglefoot now 2 bottles of Pedi & 2 bottles of 1845 to finish off a good day in front of computer. Johnsmithsupper i thank you sir

These are indeed great days. Some of us have seen comparable days but even in the bad times we stick together.
So honestly we are all in great company

Anyone remember the 6-2 Chelsea game. Cup I think and Mickey Droy midweek I remember the name vaguely but i was 2yrs old at time of that game : Tu 22Oct 1974 Stoke 6 - 2 Chelsea Micky Droy played for and managed the local team down here Kingstonians ( who have now sold up and rent their own ground off AFC Wimbledon) shocking !! Fair play to AFC though, they get approx.3000 every home game
