It's tight. 10.30 depart 85 coaches got to take 30 mins to clear that lot. I used to do bottom of M40 in 2.50 in a HGV on a quiet morning, so in to Wembley with traffic, it's gonna to tight.

No it isn't...which is why I'm not going on them.
They'll still be crawling through London at half three.

Google maps reckons 2hrs 45min going A50. M1. I don't see why it would taken more than an hour on top of that at worst. Just another chance to moan and panic, ffs!

Why is it going to be tight? Kick-off isn't until 4.00, we're supposed to arrive around 2.30, which gives around 4 hrs from Stoke. I can drive from Stoke to Enfield (not that far from Wembley) in 2.5 hours.

Does Google maps know the London marathon's on that day, as well as Liverpool playing at Arsenal, the fact that 85 coaches have got to leave the Brit car park as well as there being 30,000 Bolton fans travelling down at the same time ? I remember getting stuck in traffic on an official coach going to the 2001 Autoglass Final and missing the kick off, so perhaps it's a genuine concern rather than "another chance to moan". Plus you want to arrive early in order to get a few beers in and soak up the Wembley atmosphere, not be fretting about whether you'll be there on time.

The last time I went on officials to Wembley we were 15 minutes late getting in the stadium, we abandoned the coach before it even made the coach park.
