would you most like us too sign permanently? I think we'll struggle getting any permanently if we don't go up, but i still think we will do it for me Stephen Pearson, looks a very useful player, uses the ball well, and will do a sound job wide left us. thoughts?

Pearson is the one I'd love to sign too - can play all across the middle and would do a job whichever division we're in next year. I imagine he'll cost a fair few quid though!

Chris Riggott - the left sided centre half we have been missing since Higgy went. Having to share defensive duties with two dodgy full backs and the non-tackling Cort haven't helped to show his true worth, but he is a solid, unfussy, calm and collected defender.
If Cort is worth £1.2m (surely some mistake?), Riggott is surely worth £2m of our money if we go up.

Riggott's constant booting the ball to no-one was awful on Monday!
Cort is twice the player he is!

For me Pearson would edge it from Riggott.
We all know that we haev been crying out for some width on the left side and we finally have it.
In Cort and Shawcross we have an able central defensive partnership. I would like us to sign Zak on the cheap as back-up for them.

Shola or Riggott, particularly on the off chance we stay down as both, when fully fit are very good in this division.

Current loanee??
Bothroyd. Looks a class player especially if given a run of games, far better than Gifton Shole Williams and has age on his side.

Now I won't pretend Riggott is England's answer to Franz Beckenbauer, but Cort twice the player!?!?!?!? WTF!
With all due respect, you must watch a different game to the one I watch. A few goals at the other end cannot disguise Leon's inability to contribute sufficiently to stopping them going in at our end. That is his job first and foremost and I don't think he does it very well very often. Colin Wanker had a point about him IMHO.

Maybe the Cort comment was a bit wild but I think Riggott can deal with things but then reverses them by just hoofing the ball back to the opposition.

I though Pearson was poor on Monday, lacked intelligence on the ball.
Centre mid is his position, however he was much better against Sheff Wed....

Gonna stick my neck out here and say Bothroyd. I honestly think that him and Fuller would be a great partnership. Bothroyd has looked decent on the ball everytime he has come out and played.

pearson for me just from riggot
i think pearson when fully fit and firing is a good enogu hplayer for the prem as he kind of showed with derby and scotland
i also feel riggot has been top class defensivly although hs distribution has at times let him down.
