Good about time someone took it off, keeping the arm chair fans at home so they can watch it, instead of giving the club money, then in the summer moaning about not spending nothing.

Why anyone would pay to watch it unofficially I have no idea. I can understand staying at home and watching it on a free stream if you can't afford it, but to give cash to someone with fuck all affiliation to the club, when the streaming and profiteering of it is of very dubious legality... Hmm.

Simple, you don't have to mess about finding streams and the quality is better than most free streams.

To put it simple i payed because i was guaranteed a high quality stream with no buffering every 20 seconds and i hardly think the price of one game down the bearpit harms the club in any way its practically a sell out every game anyway

Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about?? They do show more than stoke games you know, ie cricket, boxing, MMA, NFL..... Why are you glad it's been taken down? Was it harming you in some way? Tool

Hmm. I was wondering how it was "legal" and how long before it was before it got closed down. I was very close to getting a yearly membership about 6 weeks ago mainly to watch the sky channels (cricket etc) but then saw the attacks that they were experiencing... Seems I was wise to hold on to my money.

quite right it was sticking 2 fingers up at all the corporate big wigs who charge extortionate prices to watch sky sports

quite right it was sticking 2 fingers up at all the corporate big wigs who charge extortionate prices to watch sky sports If they were that bothered about fighting the system they wouldn't have charged for it. They're profiteerers themselves but as no money was going back into the sports, they were basically pirates. Not really fighting the system. I'd rather watch a free stream that's slightly grainier but still very watchable and spend two minutes looking for it (by people who obviously DO care about the game and are sticking their fingers up) than slinging a fiver into someone's back pocket.

Many Stokies, including myself, are exiles. I live so far away that its not possible/financially realistic to get to many games; but I still want to see the team I have supported for more than 40 years play. I am also in the Far East for the next 3 weeks and had hoped to catch up on the next 3 games ( semi final in particular). As others have said; the subscription is a small price to pay for a hassle free access to the game along with the ability to see other sports related material as well. I hope it returns soon.

"Profiteering" is harsh Boother, I think they charge a pretty reasonable price for a decent service, and it's very professionally run - they clearly have way more overheads than the free stream providers. Making a profit is not the same thing as profiteering. Illegal for sure, but I've got no problems with the morality of it.

There really are some miserable twats who get on here. There is an absolute multitude of reasons why some fans have to watch Stoke games on flashsportstreams . . . . overseas/financial/infirmity just to name a few.
I've paid to watch a few Stoke away games on flash as opposed to the rubbish, virus/spam/spy ridden 'free' streams and have to say have been extremely satisfied.
If they've been closed down, it'll be a sorry day for a lot of fans who can't get down to the Brit or can't get to away games for any reason.

I just use Sopcast or Veetle streams when I can't get to matches home or away and both are of good quality.
