if there's still going to be tickets for foundation and silver members later in week, why were season ticket holders today queueing from 3.30am. I may have missed something?.

Maybe because they want to have a better choice of tickets?

They want the choice (to a certain extent) of where they can sit i suppose. More chance of having that choice when there's 30,000 tickets left rather than 10,000.

Possibility of better seats? I was online at 8 and got the seats / row and block I wanted, if I did it after work, probably wouldn't have got the seats that I was after.
Saying that, they say there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Also to get official coach tickets, I am told the club will only be selling around 4000 so if you want one get there today !

I logged on at 08:10 and printed confirmation at 08:15. Selected seat of choice from the plan, no problem. In fact after 37 years of ticket hassle, it was so easy.
Mind you, they could still get lost in the post ???

If you could only afford to buy the £30 tickets you'd want to make sure they weren't all gone by the time you got down there.

Because ST holders are buying in large groups and coach parties etc, after today i doubt you will find more than 5 together.

People shouldn't assume their own circumstances fits all Not everyone , even ST holders have a credit card or debit card , not everyone's credit card /debit card is in a healthy postn. Not everyone has access to the internet. Some people don't trust the internet for financial transactions Some people are more comfortable dealing face to face , particualry if elderly , or have large block bookings to sort. Some of those people will work shifts Some people like standing in queues. Some people just like a day out What does it matter what other people do , provided people get theirs

Well I needed 20 together so had no option. Online would only let me do 6? Simples. Still , it was a good natured affair and a few laughs later I got what I needed.

Then you get a choice of 4 categories whereas I got there about half 8 and when I eventually got through (at half 2) I only had a choice of 2.

Mind you, they could still get lost in the post ??? We ended up with some newcastle tickets for a bloke in oxfordshire a few weeks ago when we bought an extra ticket on scfcdirect. We're honest though and just put them in an envelope and sent them onto him. Postal tickets worry me

There are definitely £40 tickets left, there are loads online now and Stoke have them but won't release them yet, perhaps tomorrow apparently.
My mate wasn't pleased (to say the least), as he could only get £30 now too as there was a problem online with his particular ref numbers.
