Well, here's what some WFC fans are thinking:
www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?t=21139 Reaction At The End Of The Game
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been going for over 30 years now and had a season ticket since 1980/81 season and have seen many many poor performances before, I've seen and heard booing during and esspecially after the game when the crowd weren't happy, in fact i've seen bins thrown on the pitch, the direcors box stormed and even one fan run on the pitch and throw his scalf in the face of a player.
But i have never ever seen the players booed as they walked down the tunnel nor heard the crowd sin " what the *****ing hell was that" to them before.
This is a real new low.
I have to say it was probably the single worse overall performance by any Watford side, i have watched, in the last 30 years. I didn't go to Hull but i understand that last night was an improvement, HTF ?
What positives can you take from the game ? no one at all had a good game, in fact in the last two games can you realistically think of a player that would deserve even considering as MOTM ?
That was just woeful and the reception and stick they took was totally justified. Stuff the attitiude of they are our players and we should support them, you have for a pi$$ poor meal in a restaurant you send it back and complain, this is the same, club or not.
The squad we know isn't good enough, the manager we know lacks tactical nouse but no effort, that my friends isn't something that can be taught that is something that as proffesionals they should have.
Attitude is everything and our players seem to have it, but not the attitude we need.

Well the one, and only, positive for me last night was that most of the rookery who didnt leave early stayed behind to boo, so my trip back to high wycombe when the final whistle went was quicker and easier.

After the coventry game, i would have said Tommy Smith. But then he wasnt needed for barnsley... None of the players last night played well. Doyley was our best player in the 2nd half and stewart had moments during the game, but otherwise it wasnt good.

I think calling that performance woeful is being kind tbh. The worrying thing is that it isnt the 1st time we've played like that this season.

Now i disagree with what you say about the squad. Look at the players we have and except for acouple of positions they are good enough to win promotion. The real problem lies with the manager in all honesty. Hes the one who continues with that style of player, who coachs the players in the style he wants to play. You cant tell me that they spend all week practicing brazil-esq football only to turn up matchdays and play like they did against barnsley. The morale of the players is low and theirs obviously some friction with the manager.
I'm with bubble - if aidy cant (or wont) sort it out, then he has to go. simple as.
